Interesting... Just looked Nebeus up.... The interface looks good and they mentioned being insured...

But I still can't understand your own....if you used USDT as collateral, what did u loan?

My plan is to deposit some Bitc0in, get some usdt... After 3 months, refund the usdt, withdraw my bitc0in and go into alyts... Will need some confirmation in the market though... 25-50% ltv is good for me... I want to sleep with my 2 eyes closed

Makes sense! I understand what you're saying. Nebeus will likely fit what you want once you get confirmation in the market especially because you can choose your LTV to an extent.

As for mine, let me explain it another way:
I borrowed USDT for a month by using my USDT as collateral. Reason: I wanted a domain name (which GoDaddy abi NameCheap estimated to be worth over $11k) and I'd a budget for it but I missed my purchase price; when I wanted to buy, the price had gone about 600% up.

I decided to not use my personal cash anymore because it didn't make sense. So, I used my stable cash in crypto (USDT) to take a USDT loan for a month; then, within that month, I made back the principal + interest for the purchase with my other stable cash in crypto not reserved as collateral by Binance.

Hope do u guys know when to sell

With my trades, I work with a %. Once it hits that, my sell order is activated.

So, I know when to sell because before I go into a trade, I set my TP target and SL target in my head; these aren't set in stone though. Once I take profit, I'm usually done for the day and anything else is a bonus; ditto to taking losses.

Edit: For the most part, I'm not holding at the moment so if your question was targeted towards that angle, maybe my answer won't be the best for you.

That's strange...... Why didn't you just buy the coin with your usdt?

I'm looking for something with a low interest rate with a period of 3-6 months.... Those with very low interest like celcius (<1%) rates have annoyingly high LTV rates

Nah, it wasn't for a coin purchase. Used it to buy another digital asset: a domain name I want to flip for about 4-5 digits in 2-3 years.

I think there's no middle ground when it comes to interest rate vs LTV rates; the only platform I can suggest now (but not used though) is Nebeus. They've got an adjustable LTV up to 80% for Flexible Loans. Perhaps you could look them up. I'll ask my folk for the one he used.

They're still active.
Just don't wanna hear stories that touch.
Money hard to get these days.

Your funds (on Trove) are protected by the SIPC (up to half a million dollars) via their brokerage partner, DriveWealth, so that should give you some sense of ease.

I wanted to invest in stocks, but the week I registered with Trove, CBN banned some of them.
It got me a little worried, so I decided to hold back.
Are they unbanned now?

Still think they're still active. But if they're not, you could look at Bamboo.

Does anyone here have an experience of taking a loan on a crypt0 platform?

Been looking into options...

Want to take a usdt loan with bitc0in as collateral....

Looking at a 3-6 month timeframe....

I'd wait for clarity on the market b4 making a move.

P.s, I'm not taking it to buy alyts... Need it to handle stuff but don't want to sell my bitcoyns yet

I took but used USDT as collateral. But I know someone who used ETH or so; don't think there's much disparity.

Let me know what information you need.

Yeah it did...

I did expect a rally to 150 after taking 100 (which I shared here)... I wasn't happy with the selloff at 130 hence I took profits... I remember sharing here how voyns usually rally in price discovery

I've shared here how I made almost 90kusd (1.5btc) on a single doge rally... Even at that, I'd tell you that I dont plan to sell the absolute top or but the absolute bottom... Folks are still waiting for betece at 25k

Late reply...

I took profits at 143.09. I'll re-enter but not now. And when the bear market arrives, I plan to accumulate 200+ but till then.

$90k is massive on a single rally!!! shocked cool I missed the rally, man. E pain me, no be small.

dude

I started this crypto in 2019

I have seen everything

I once had 1eth

I took profit on eth when it was 250dollars

Now look at eth

Mehn fvck that taking profit ahit,, no be for all coins

I cried for eth

Ah! No, this is painful.
Maybe what would've helped is shaving off some and leaving the rest to ride (hindsight is 20:20 lol).

The flip side to this coin though (no pun intended): what if ETH had gone to $20, like farrrrrr below your purchase price?

My experience (a bit):
I knew about cryptoeeee in 2017 or 2016. Began my journey in 2019 (October/November) and gained sweet profits earlier this year (DENT, WIN, STMX, ETH, VET, VTHO, BTT, ADA, ALPHA, ZIL, LINK, etc.) but because I didn't take profits, I lost everything and was only able to rescue about 50% of my capital or so.

Now, I take profits because that money you think is yours isn't really yours until you bag and bank it. wink grin Profit taking > mourning losses.

It's easier to look at it from a profit perspective but there's the loss perspective as well which no one truly gets no matter how much it's said until you feel your heart racing and your inner demons laughing and mocking you as you watch your money dropping and dropping and dropping until $0.00 shocked cry cheesy

no be every coin you go take profit

Imagine taking profit from KSM at 380

Or taking profit from SOL at 100

Lol.
If I share what not taking profits did to me and how much money I lost, you'd always take profits on ALL coins.

You can.
Oftentimes, you don't even have to fill a new application; you just select a 2nd option and I think, a 3rd.

pls come ohhh ... I used my house rent to buy sol at 129 this afternoon I just checked this evening to see 115 pls what's the best thing to do now. I can still wait for 2weeks tho.

should I wait or chop breakfast?

This is bad.
There's actually no best thing to do now. I think you know what's best for you. And if you don't know, just simply ask yourself what happens if SOL doesn't rise in 2 weeks but keeps dipping, where would you live?

omoo it will still take years for SOL to kiss $1k but $5h is possible within 1-2 years time. BTW I'm giving consideration to start bagging FTM cause that coin has future

Lol, not sure it'll take that long o. But still $500 from its current price is almost 4x abi 5x...and that's some cool wadada!

Not really looked at FTM so don't really have any opinion about it right now.

My brother Solana no gree wait aswear, I remember in May this year when solana was between $36-40 wen someone advised me to buy but I was on a house project, No Spare Money! Promised to look for $500-1k and invest on Sol later this year but see now.. the coin don pump leave me already cry

There's always another coin.
Or, you can average down; like if you've got that $500-$1k now, I think it's wise to still buy it and maybe see you at $1k - $2k/SOL.
