HesInMe: This kain follow-follow investing is risky o. The point of a thread like this is (or should be) to learn how to evaluate investment opportunities for yourself. That's why we should encourage debate and disagreement, and be comfortable with pushback.
And why we should be cautious with short-term gambling investing...
And if it's still too hard, maybe look at buying mutual funds, through which professional investors can help you do the investing. No shame in that. I actually prefer to buy stocks that are on discount. After analysis |

skyangel: It doesn't work that way, all rate is calculated per annum, meaning that 18% for 3 months is divided into 4 For instance, when you investment 1 million for 3 months at 18%, your interest will be 180,000 ➗ by 4 = 45,000 Oh wow So by 360 days is it still divided by 4? |

Omo!! Congrats jare I wish this was just me I'm still seeing that "passport has been received from consular, preparing for delivery" After I got refused yesterday.. I'm just worries I might not make my trip April 24th.. cdz: First off, a big thank you to everyone who shared useful information on this thread concerning IW. I have been a silent reader for quite a while and here's my own account of the process:
Submitted on the 23rd of March at 6:30am
Application Received on the 23rd. Case last updated on the 30th.
Administrative Processing on 4th April
Issued on 5th April
Received collection text and email on the 6th
Picked up today at DHL office at 10am.
Lessons learnt: If you're not in immediate danger of falling out of qualification for the IW, patience is the watch word. With some patience, you don't need to join a Telegram or WhatsApp group to get a drop off date. Visiting this thread frequently will help you scale that hurdle.
Once you submit your documents for processing, again, more patience will save you a lot of nail biting. Just let the process run its course.
Thanks again to all the helpful folks on this thread and good luck to the rest of the fellows on the visa trail. |

Hold in a minute!!! Did you fill that twitter handle in your ds 160 Where they ask for social media handle? Lordkross: When I read this link below sometimes last month or so ago I decided to take them up on Twitter, no be small thing.
I was fighting both PayPal, Stripe and the US Embassy at the same time.
I asked them to explain to me in simple terms why they first collect a nonrefundable fee of 67,200 and they issue days at their own discretion? Our discussion didn't last long before Twitter gave me the highest blocking ever
I had to return to my primary other handle tto be able to use Twitter again.
They know, they know, they're making money, and like I said, there are things he told me that I don't want to disclose. Remember, he asked me to go and update my application, pay the fee and just show up that it would be done at consular level.

Travel › Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by BizErikah: 2:35pm On Apr 07, 2022 |
Wow, Are you sure, this person didn't hear when the VO told you, you do not qualify? Lordkross: So guys here's the kicker. A guy tailed me from the Embassy to my office (about 7 mins walk from the Embassy).
Note that when leaving the Embassy I told them I was successful, just to not make anybody feel uneasy with their interview, after all we all may never see each other again.
Just as I was about to enter my office premises the guy met me and greeted me.
"Good morning sir" I noticed your application was denied, we can help you reverse it."
I was shocked so I asked a few questions - to sum the whole story he told me I needed to pay another MRV and update my profile and leave the rest for them.
He also guaranteed me that I didn't need to pay any money until the Visa is out in 5 - 10 days.
Points to Note: I think the Embassy is deliberately denying qualified applicants Visas, after which they'll send some of their emissaries to try to convince you about the possibility of reversing their own decision(s).
The guy told me to pay for the new MRV and 1M to the consular and then 100k to him for his trouble.
There are other things I can't state here though because I don't know who is who, but today, I see clearly why people tell lies when they're going for any class of Visa - when does telling the truth ever helps anybody?
Ask yourself how a whole American Embassy go come out to admit that their interview systems had been hijacked by Visa Agents.
Omo, everybody dey corrupt for this country sha! |

Should the case be an issue of passport when I pick up from DHL.. As I reside in Abuja, do I just post to the abuja office or simple leave it to dhl discretion to where to post it to.. Cos this is my 3rd dropbox and I've never defaulted in any way and I have other visas. So I'm almost positive it's a passport issue as I snapped it by the roadside. Dampops: It depends…
The usual progression is from “application received” to “administrative processing” and then “refused” or “issued”…however, if the issue they have with an application is fundamental e.g. no biometric on record, old passport photograph etc…you may likely see “refused” immediately after “application received” |
