bily:
I also left out income that could come from minutes. N11/min I also used N180 as fuel I also set aside 15k weekly as maintenance, that 60k every month, which I think it's a bit on the high side
So it will balance out
Also imagine if the driver is a machine like Romeo3 ![grin](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/grin.png) Sharp guy bily..nice |

claremont: One striking thing I have observed on here is that Nigeria seems to be the only Uber market where certain people believe that only deadbeat ugly-looking peugeot cars can survive. I have visited Kenya and Uganda several times, and 90% of the cars used over there for uber are decent-looking Toyota corollas. It seems there is such an obsessive push on here for people to dump their decent cars in favour of decaying peugeots on the premise that ''they are the best for Nigerian roads''. I have heard someone 'advice' a car owner to sell his decent looking car in favour of an ugly scrap peugeot. I don't think this is right.
I'm not even comparing Nigeria with other western countries, we are comparing it with fellow African countries. Plus, just because someone has been driving on Uber for a while simply doesn't give that person any sense of entitlement over a newbie. Uber doesn't need any experience, you simply start the app and drive the number of hours you feel obliged to. At the end of the week, you are paid in line with whatever bonus offers are available. The location you need to be is already highlighted on the app itself by its 'boost' feature, there is no rocket science about it.
I have been a silent reader on this page for a while and have been carefully observing the antics of some people, but let me just stop here. I think we should give kudos to Uber for taking a lot of people out of unemployment, these are the same people speaking with a false sense of entitlement just because they have managed to taste a few pennies in Naira. Drivers should consider themselves lucky to be in Nigeria where car owners give them there cars without an initial deposit, in most other countries, you pay a fixed weekly fee UPFRONT to lease the car. entparrot: I will say it again, drivers greed is what is shying more investors away, drivers dare not approach bank, but ready to rubbish owners, for owning just 2cars and trying his best to protect his interest.
Ogunvic41 jump into defending drivers, when they cheat, and he justify their actions.
Romeo3 drove into pool of water and wreck the Honda accord giving to him, the next thing he dump the vehicle.
This are people with questionable characters, how will you trust ur investment to this type of people.
I know that 40 vehicles in their fleets is all exaggeration, they are putting up figures to manipulate more owners.
Im taking this upon myself to help owners succeed in this business, I have driven in this platforms, and invested in fleets, with less noise, but always here to tackle drivers greed.
Email entparrot@gmail.com or call if you have vehicles, you want to put in Uber, we will pay you weekly payment upfront, before taking ur vehicle, zero stories.
Come to our office, in ojota it's a law chambers, we are here to protect ur interest, and make you succeed.

Me i love the 2x boost, you keep the normal fare, same amount still lands in your balance This festive period Uber really was for the drivers while taxify was for riders 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Some will just park car claiming no fuel. I am sure a fultank can rake in over 70k at this surge rate. Ofcourse..if one trip is going for 8k (surge from vi to ikeja for example) then 70k is easy |
