Research in Motion, The company with over 70 million BlackBerry users worldwide, made a statement yesterday:

    “The messaging and browsing delays being experienced by BlackBerry users in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Brazil, Chile and Argentina were caused by a core switch failure within RIM’s infrastructure.  Although the system is designed to failover to a back-up switch, the failover did not function as previously tested.

    As a result, a large backlog of data was generated and we are now working to clear that backlog and restore normal service as quickly as possible.  We apologize for any inconvenience and we will continue to keep you informed.”

While the problems initially affected only BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) consumer users, BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES) users who are on a private, corporate domain, appear unaffected.

It is thought that at least 2/3, if not 3/4 of all BlackBerry subscribers have been affected by the three-day outage.

Users have been left without data services, from browsing, email and BlackBerry Messenger, the company’s instant messaging solution used predominately by younger consumers, as they are now forced to settle for other messaging options like WhatsApp, 2go, Nimbuzz and Yahoo messenger.

for example for d past 4months I don Google Scholarships on 3d-Animation & Visual effects so te my History tab for Firefox go shock you. m doing dat so dat I can pursue a Master's Degree or some equivalent to salvage what's left of what I cal a career in Graphics design/Animation.
Whether we admit it or not Education in this field is of upmost importance, downloading a copy of Photoshop, uploading some of ur "works" to ur Photo folder in facebook (am a victim myself) shouldnt always b considered art. A proper education & d same pictures which oh so lacked dat one special thing would start been hung up on Bank/Gallery walls or sometin.

Which reminds me of how some peeps just purchase a Canon 7d, Shoots a couple of music videos & hence requires to b labelled a Music Video Director/Visual effects Director/Lighting expert. I know wit no reasonable doubt that it's been taught in schools for 1-2years minimum. That's y Nike wont give u a Brief 2 do their Ad, you arent just professional anuff.

just look at the credits dat roll after a vfx movie, always almost as long as the movie itself
the work is always shared between teams, one guy does d Rigging , another d character animation , then passes it off to the Texturizer , (lol), d Gaffer , and so on.
The work is always shared between peeps dat know what d Heck(paron mua french) dey r doing.

Which Leads to an important question I always like to ask. . .
Are you Truly creative or do you just happen to have an Otigba version of Photoshop/coreldraw/afterfx/dreamweaver/any_other_program
