Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose was involved in a Motor accident on the 3rd Mainland bridge in Lagos earlier today, PoliticsNGR has just learned.

According to his media aide, Lere olayinka, Fayose has been hospitalised and is responding well to treatment. Olayinka wrote on twitter;

"Immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose was involved in auto accident on 3rd Mainland Bridge in Lagos few minutes ago. He is in stable condition as I write while he is receiving medical attention."

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has raised an alarm, alleging that the APC-led Federal Government plans to plant 800 guns in the state, in order to create crisis in the state.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the Special Assistant on Electronic Media to the Governor, Simeon Nwakaudu.


According to Wike, intelligence from credible sources revealed that the resolution to implement the plot was hatched at the Federal Government’s last security meeting.

The governor, therefore, called on the international community to take note of the proposed illegal action of the APC-led government.

He, however, urged the people of the state to remain calm, but vigilant, adding that the alleged evil machinations will not distract the state from delivering on her constitutional responsibilities to its people.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has brought fresh charges against a former Minister of Petroleum Resources , Diezani Alison- Madueke , SUNDAY PUNCH has learnt .
It was learnt that the EFCC would in the coming days join Diezani in a suit filed against an oil tycoon , Jide Omokore .
The EFCC will subsequently apply for a bench warrant against the former minister as part of the process to kick - start her extradition from the United Kingdom.
EFCC source said , “ There have always been charges against Diezani . However, we had to remove her name for technical reasons . Also, the matter is no longer before Justice Nyako .
“ We will amend the charges to include her name and then we will apply for a bench warrant because there are many diplomatic processes involved . We will amend the charges against her .
“ You cannot extradite a person from foreign land without evidence that the person is wanted or the person ’s arrest has been ordered by a court.”
A bench warrant is an arrest warrant that is ordered by a judge against the defendant in a criminal case . It is
typically issued in the case of a failure to appear for trial . ”
A senior EFCC official who spoke on condition of
anonymity noted that a case was filed against Diezani in 2016 but had been withdrawn .
However, with the delay by the UK authorities, the commission has decided to personally handle the matter .

It Appears Reno Omokri is having none of the explanations provided by Buharis handlers as regarding the massacre of Nigerian soldiers by Boko Haram which the adminiatration earlier tried to cover up.

He just shared a throwback tweet by Buhari in which the current President accused President Jonathan Of ignoring deaths. Reno wrote
