RomanceRe: Does He Really Want To Marry Me? by bjibola: 11:15pm On Dec 16, 2007
Sirop:
Thank you jkpretty! wink You really got my mind in gear, Thank you.

Zignor - we haven't' engaged in the act yet but, I'm ready!

ettehgate - Because this babe is ready for marriage.

The ironic thing about it all is that when he proposed to date me (lack for better words) he told me that he didn't want to be my boyfriend. He wants a wife. huh So ettehgate he came to me with this marriage thing. Him not even knowing I wanted to be in a committed relationship.

my dear do not be deceived, If he came to you saying he wants to play with u, will u answer him. Guys instinctively know want we want. Dude just read u, and told u what he knows you want to hear.

Yes Nah !! First Bank is now BIG, HOT and very SEXY ! And nothing can stop them now ! I am wishing all those goin for January induction d very best and a hot new salary.
Where are the zenith and oceanic and co lovers in d house. tongue can u guys match 500billion naira, , sorry

500BILLION NAIRA !!
angela255:
My friend is a first bank staff and he says that they have reviewed upwards their salary but they are yet to get a letter on the levels.
Unconfirmed BA's get 1.7 million per annum. which is very very cool,

Don't forget that FirstBank is the Big Elephant and the Big Elephant is on the move following their very very successfull IPO were they raised over N500BILLION NAIRA. shocked shocked

Forget Zenith and Oceanic and Intercontinental and all the rest. They are pretenders to the throne. First Bank is number one. Lets us see the pennies a.k.a 50 cents that Zenith is going to raise with their schemingly timed 130 billion Hybrid Offer
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! So funny I couldn't laugh. Thought your first post was a mistake until i saw the second one. I don't have any stake whatsoever in either zenith, first bank nor Oceanic. You are obviously of the uninitiated mind. Please what as public offer offer got to do with staff salary?!?!?? First bank is a big bank no doubt when it comes to shareholder's satisfaction. What! You think the money they made from the public Offer is to pay Salaries for Staff. My dear before you talk to much, Oceanic and Zenith pay one of the highest salaries in the banking sector. In fact, they've been competing for highest paying. Oceanic is the highest paying at 3.1m(starter). This is a confirmed figure, ask anyone there. Zenith I think is in the range of 2.7m, I doubt if First after their review can ever match this.. Besides,Oceanic just Won Best Bank in Nigeria and Zenith also won Best Bank in Africa. . Please and Please and Please, DO NOT BE IGNORANT. Oh and First bank wasn't an IPO, IPO stands for Initial Public Offer. It was just a public offer

Gosh! Wat a relief. I also wrote their test on the 26th at their Ikoyi Branch and I know i passed by wat I did (I read the barron gmat like my life depended on it) so the questions weren't strange to me. Was getting worried because 2 weeks don come and go even though i heard no one my batch has been called. Well its jus a relief to know am not alone. The cut off is not to high, talked to one of the invigilators(he didnt tell me wat it was though) but from his tone and how he replied, i could tell. Lets keep our fingers crossed and believe God wants to give us a new year present.

Cant you people read, are u so desperate for jobs that u can't take time to read the post. Except for a few replies, every one got it wrong. How do you expect to pass a test, or interview if u can't decode and answer to a simple post. This is so common to landers that it is sickening. Someone will ask for help, opinion, tip or advice and all people will reply is "am interested also, my email address is , " Aba, abeg, read what u reply to.

CareerRe: My Boss Wants To Have Me In Her Office Or Sack! by bjibola: 10:56pm On Nov 05, 2007
There's something called Entrapment. Trap her, record a conversation and then use it against her. These way u get the upper hand. And if she insists on doing you, take to her bosses, and if she is the main boss, there is something called Sexual Harassment and this is definitely it. Take it to a lawyer but the truth is if she is the owner of ur office u mite need to actually leave either way.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Quitting My Present Job To Study Abroad by bjibola: 6:41am On Oct 31, 2007
Oh, I forgot about staying home part, If u finally decide u want to stay. Since u are flush, u can try pat utomi's Pan African university. Trust me, It is as good as any business school abroad. Infact, in a review i read, it was rated no 5 business school in the world. U cant go there and not have a good job when u finish.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Quitting My Present Job To Study Abroad by bjibola: 6:35am On Oct 31, 2007
My dear, if u av the money, go for it. Its a great opportunity. I however dont suggest u quit ur job like that, ask for a study leave at work. Most organizations will give u that if u have worked there for a least 2 years. The downside however is that u av tied urself to them and have to go back them once u finish ur masters.

Asapa ur question on getting a good job, or staying back. Have u not seen a lot of adverts where they say a master's abroad will be a great advantage. Yes, u can stay back when u finish. I know for a fact that when u study anywhere in the United Kingdom u get an automatic one year to work that comes with the package and u cant be denied it, In fact Scotland gives there ex students 2 years. If u decide u want to stay back after that one year, there are a lot of immigrant schemes that u can transfer to, HSMP for example. If however, u decide to come back, the world is a global village and u can start looking for a job from there in Nigeria through all these message boards and online applications, if your credentials are really that impressive, u could get a job from there that will bring u back to Nigeria as an expat. All these is if u avent tied urself to ur present employer. It has its own advantage been u v more job security that something is still waiting for u at home.

Anyways, just ask for God's direction as u deliberate and i hope av been of some help i clarifying things.
