that's right.
That myth emanated from the fact that a male guest to a Tiv man is often seen with his wife's wrapper the next morning leaving a public impression that he slept with the host's wife over the night.
TIV men often offer his male guests his wife's wrapper. The more important the guest, the better the quality of the wrapper.

Source: an educated TIV lady
There are different versions to the story

The one I heard was that in line with the TIVman penchant for hospitality, he would allow the visitor share the same bed with his wife, while he sleeps on the floor, particularly if in a one room house (usually hut).

Needless to add that nothing is expected to happen to both parties on the bed.

It may or not be true, but from my interaction, the claims of TIV men using thier wives to entertain visitors are widely unfounded.

No. Oral se.x (sucking penis/vagina, kissing etc) carries only hypothetical risk(theoretical). In reality, the risk is extremely low and negligible (actually, in the scientific world we do not neglect anything no matter how small).
Ever since HIV was discovered there has been only one case of someone who contracted HIV through oral se.x and that was because there was exchange of blood.
Why people contract HIV is because they are not educated (sex education).

Moreover, those NACA figures are false and fabricated to extort money from international organizations (e.g W.H.O).
In reality the figure is extremely low.

If you talk about Nigeria or even africa as a whole, I hold the most accurate and precise knowledge about HIV and have published several articles on it. I have written to several international organizations and have obtained reliable data on my table.
This has to be the funniest shiit I've read in a while.

Oya where is the link to your articles?

The elephant in the room is the fact that nobody wants to call a spade a spade as it regards the army of hooligans in Lagos. And by that I mean the activities of such cult groups like the Awawa boys and the one million boys. These groups consisting of thousands of highly uncouth and ruthless boys showed their hands initially, during the lockdown lootings and easily overpowered the police. It was the vigilantes that saved the day. Folks were not lucky this time.

Their wanton looting, sort of set the template that turned the looting of everything in sight into a part of the protest nationwide. Personally, I have made the decision to never support any revolt again that will include these people! It's heartbreaking, to see peoples hard earned resources looted in few minutes! If Lagos can't get a grip on her wayward youths, taking into consideration how big Lagos is in such issues,a folks to find alternative ways of expressing general national discontent next time.. I hate creating new problems while solving another..
Hmm. I can clearly remember the one million boys gang during the covid lockdown. .

And thier number increases everyday!!

This is a serious ticking bomb on our hands. The earlier we start doing something about it, the better.

This also raises another question:
Who are the parents of these youths??

Mr man don't deceive yourself. Edo Prison break was on Monday.
By monday lagos was already boiling, curfew was announced. Lagos was still boiling.

This hoodlums were waiting for a bigger opportunity
.

The protesters and the army gave it to them at a plater of God.
I think this summaries it. Let's be sincere we can't blame the carnage on the Lekki killings.

And that's the scary part I was referring to. That we have such a large number of teeming, evidently angry and hungry youth waiting to take advantage of the situation to cause mayhem.

Went out today to see things for myself

It's beyond what can be imagine.

Speaking specially for Lagos, I almost shed tears at the stupefying level of damage, destruction, looting. cry

The governor described it, aptly, as level destruction seen in time of war.

Truly shocking!

And scary at the same time.

Almost gives the impression it's been planned for months.

My heart goes out to all those who have lost one thing or another. . . .

As vital as cement which no construction can do without he has capitalized on a monopoly aided by his northern conspirators.

Nigerians can not afford to buy cement because dangote doesn't need deregulation.

100bn isn't even enough to compensate his monopoly on the masses.

He makes it in months, am not even talking about the lives his trucks has been wasting which is irreplaceable

Continued protest and open defiance of the curfew will serve no purpose whatsoever.

It's not going to change a damn thing.

It will only lead to more loss of life and more violence.

It's time to end this

Seun is very right here. People need to survive, and for most Nigerians, it's a day by day process.

Especially on the heels of the covid lockdown where people are yet to recover

Truth is protesters have lost significant goodwill. It's time to end this now before it gets worse.
