SuperBold:@ The bolded is part of democracy. You argue with anybody irrespective of their gender. Freedom of speech is not restricted to a particular gender and Igbo democracy allows the fluidity. Well, it's not like I expect you to understand, after all you are from the Yoruba group where primitive monarchy and MISOGYNY reigns supreme. WOMEN are relegated to semi humans, their decisions, freedom of speech and ideas irrelevant Your opinion about arguing with a "woman" is the misogyny in your culture that is inbuilt in your DNA |
Mr Asari Tokumbo. We know the trick. "Praise them to get into their heart, to the point they speak about you then destroy them. By that time they can't fight back or else they will sound as hypocrites" Ndigbo are wiser |
Challenge the fulani and face the law. As simple as that |
This is why Igbo democracy is the best. No monarch represents the interest of the Igbo man. Noe the fate of the entire Yoruba Nation lies in hands of about 100 old men they call monarchs. I pity una sha. People with Kingdoms |
Juliusmalema:IGNORED @the man with many identity. Who knows the one you are today |
Bridges under Obiano. Let us do the comparison sector by sector
Does this mean you agree. If yes. Specify the particular picture to merge. I noticed that most of their achievements have like two in particular sector so the other party should reply with his best picture to counter the other. You Mr Arewa1stson will bring up the first two and he will propose the next and so on till we get to the tenth. Agree? |
Ehm Mr , you and the other guy can have a healthy free and fair comparison by 1) You list a particular sector and post picture (just the best 1) then he comment with his own best. 2) Do ten of it in different sector and he comment with his own picture 3) I volunteer myself to compile (merge) each of the pictures according to sector and allow people vote. 4) Those that believe Obiano did better in a particular situation sector will like while those that believe Umahi did better will share for each of the merged pictures representing the sectors. 5) After it I will announce the winner, which will be visible to everyone anyways Lets do this the Igbo democratic way. We are not like the Savages in Nigeria that settle minor misunderstanding like this with more insults and baseless arguments. We are Ndigbo please Reply with "I agree, Rep Obiano" if you want to do this and the person representing Umahi should also reply with "I agree, Rep Umahi" And please other commenters. Only pictures of the rep will be merged, although chance would be given to update or modify the picture by the reps. Only. PS : This is strictly Obiano and Umahi affair, it doesn't correlate to the development in both states. Just the achievement of both governors Lets behave like the Ndigbo we are and settle this Obiano and Umahi issue once and for all |
okigbojihad:That is how they play you people. He is Yoruba. They just claim an ethnicity in SS to mess with some people's mind. Just ignore him. He is overwhelmed by Igbo accomplishments he saw here. It is normal to hate those that are better than you |
9jakool:LOL. My dear it is normal to try to attach yourself to progress and great accomplishments but the way you are doing it is ridiculous. How come it is only your site that have such ridiculous narration? How old is Ijaw that you claimed bought from you and "gave" to Ndigbo? Do you know what Ijaw spent almost all of their life in mid ages doing as a result of Igbo expansion? Akwete is an Igbo exclusive thing. You Yorubas were butt ass naked before the Fulani discovered you people. Stop trying to change history. You even got your name Yoruba from the Fulani Ok. Fine this link below is from a Kenyan. Give me your excuses https://tdsblog.com/akwete-igbo-traditional-textile-made-in-nigeria/
|
okigbojihad:He is a Yoruba man. Try to modify that your comment. He doesn't worth it |
asha80:You can't tell shit from a faceless forum like this. In reality (at the moment) APGA is not even considered as one of the major contestants of 2021. The election seems to be between YPP and PDP (ifeanyi Ubah and Dr Godwin Maduka) |
9jakool:I told the fact that Yorubas were naked before they had contact with Fulani but you think that attaching yourselves to Igbo Akwete clothes will make people say otherwise when it is only your blog is the doing the abominable linking. Ndigbo never met you Yoruba guys as trade partners but as Opposite warring sides in Agha Idu na Oba in Igodomigodo (present Bini) We share nothing in common. Now take a look at the article FROM Vanguard on Akwete (I choose sites the person can relate to). https://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/07/akwete-cloth-an-igbo-textile-art/ They specifically said that Akwete is as Old as the Igbo nation The question is this, did Ijebu ode form the Igbo nation with us? Oga you people were butt ass naked before the Fulani clothed your ancestors
|
nsiba:LOL. Someone just lost his senses on seeing Igbo culture and started ranting like a mad man. Now look at the sculpture below. It is one of the best British preserved sculpture of Igbo origin dating tens of centuries ago. Look at it and see Nsibidi at work. The lady artwork is wearing Igbo history on her For your reference, I choose a reputable YORUBA history channel so that atleast you will have respect for your fellow Yoruba historian https://www.imodara.com/magazine/wooden-fans-of-the-calabar-coast/ And this should be the last of engagement you will get from me for our writing system. This is the reason why Igbo history is not circulated in Nigerian media because just like the way you are doing now, it will make many Nigerians run mad
|
Ibrahimmrfish:And you made such Yoruba like way of life. Just go and modify it if you don't want to drag innocent Yorubas to insult. |
Ibrahimmrfish:Of course Igbo land was never part of your trade network because we have nothing in common. If you are looking for Igbo trade network or have questions about their relationship with other ethnicities, Look towards Cameroon and Central Africa. This the reason why some of our culture is shared with people from that side like Ibibio, Efik, Ejeagham and Co. The only Nigerian people Ndigbo had visible contact with is Igodomigodo (ancient people of what is called Bini today and Esan). Esan even use and is still using our calendar system with the Igbo words (Eke, orie, Afọr and Nkwo) You are just speculating. The only Nigerian tribe to have indigenous clothe production is Igbo. Hausa had contact with the Muslim Arabs including Fulani in the late 10th century and accepted Islam in the 11th century. So they were clothed by the Arabs in the 11th century same with the kanuri. The only thing that followed suit was the establishment of Kano cloth production which later became one of the engine of the economy. As for Yorubas, they were naked until 18th century when the fulani discovered and clothed them. Starting from Share, near Tsaragi. This is why the traditional Yoruba men's dressing look like the bubban /boubou /baban Riga of Arabs |
Ibrahimmrfish:Yorubas and their shameless way of life. So you are now trying to claim the pictures of Igbo women in front our eyes? Only the two piece wrapper would have made you to have some dignity but your DNA of history revision and trying to claim other people's culture still push you around. Shameless people. Leaders of Aba women's riot now changed to Yoruba women https://theconversation.com/how-igbo-women-used-petitions-to-influence-british-authorities-during-colonial-rule-143309
|
9jakool:LOL. You just typed a lie on one of your blogs and want to use it a reference. Everybody can type what they like. The truth is that Akwete is the only indigenous cloth producers in the whole of Nigeria. Yorubas were naked before 18th century until they had contact with fulani. Akwete clothes are as old as the Igbo nation. Every report says so except an unverified site with a sentence by a Yoruba history revisionist |
nsiba:Sometimes HATE make people sound like idiots. See Argument. https://www.historians.org/teaching-and-learning/teaching-resources-for-historians/teaching-and-learning-in-the-digital-age/through-the-lens-of-history-biafra-nigeria-the-west-and-the-world/the-colonial-and-pre-colonial-eras-in-nigeria/the-womens-market-rebellion-of-1929

Igbo Ekunie. Deje! This is what this generation is all about. We are the victory of 1970 As for the idiots from Lagos that always start their statement with "I am Igbo but" that will tell us to keep it "a mystery" Otoro gbachie ụnụ ntị" |
Resurrection212:I hope you know this truck is no longer potent again. Who in his right sense call people from Imo "Imolite" Lol |
See how people dey put their family name into trouble. I see Hopeless Ozodimgba family name becoming the next Ifeajuna of Igboland. A so shameful, nobody dare claim to relate to the family |
descarado:Asị na atụọ ilu nkirika nkata onye ta ahụ awọrọ. You still have the courage to broadcast stupidity agai Isreali, Italian, Arab, Indian or even Amhara in any forum and see how they uplift their culture and custom Shameless Yoruba dick sucker, this is information age and confidence of the kids depend on what they see about their identity online. Have you ever challenged any miscreant re-writing and defacing any Igbo identity in any seminar or lecture? I believe you did GS in the yoruba school that you went to ( that is if you are even educated). Have you challenged any of the professor as to why they called Igbo acephalous but Athenians as Democrats? Because both practice the same decentralized leadership. No. All you do in your shameless life is to hop from one social media to the other looking for Igbo promoters to castigate in a bid to console your self on the need to suck more Yoruba dicks. Anuofia. BTW OFEKE. The actual Proverb you were trying to quote is not "ofeke amaghị be nna ya" but "OFEKE AMAGHỊ MGBE EKE NKỤ UKWA" Ofeke Goodluck with your life achievement of sucking Yoruba dicks |
Ahamefuna0001:Ha amarọ ka anyị si kwado |
descarado:Here they come "Lagos Igbo" with their stupidity. My dear you are ashamed that I am giving it hot to your Yoruba Boyfriends. Anybody that gets ashamed when his/her ethnicity is talked about in positive light is not proud of it You should be ashamed of yourself to identify with Igbo. You better stick to the Yoruba dick you are sucking and leave Igbo matters to Igbotic people. You probably thought that like you, every other Igbo will celebrate their identity demeaning and hide themselves. We are not the same madam and don't ever think we are from the same ethnic group. I am Igbo in and out and not ashamed to project is anywhere but you can you? As for posting it on nairaland "a Yoruba owned forum" Madam there is something called information and it rules the world. It doesn't matter where the owner of the forum is from. If it is successful you use it. Hating on it because of the owner makes on a chronic hater. Do you know how many young Igbo people that visit this forum (and others) on daily basis and what the gabbage they add to Igbo history and identity does to their mental health? Do you think Linda Ikeji would have been successful without inputs by other ethnicities including Yoruba? By the way what are you here for? Probably to make your self believe it is worth it to be dating a Yoruba by swallowing their hateful comments on Igbo identity and expect others to cower in shame like you. If you are waiting for all of us to keep all of the good side of our identity a mystery while the whole of Internet is littered with the propaganda, lies and gabbage your boyfriends litter then you are in for a shocker. You are probably the type that hide their Igbo accent to be accepted. Anumpama |
EMMY76:You might be from the East but you don't know the custom that well. Ask people back home. This custom is before Christianity homophobia and things/law/abominations are decided by the people not a monarch. And the people accepted same sex marriage and it became a norm before the Europeans introduced their Christianity which demonized it |
EMMY76:Don't say Igboland, say in Christianity. And please stop sounding like a dummy in an educative thread like this. Ancient Igbo people were not like the primitive black people that decisions rest on an ignorant man they call king. Everything was subjected to vote and nobody can tell a married person what to do with her spouse. If there was restrictions why allow them marry? You haven't thought of this because you are blinded by Christian norms. |
SuperBold:LOL you think Ụzụ Awka is like the primitive black Smith you are used to as a black man. Well you are in for a shocker. Didn't you people glorify primitive Kingship as the hallmark of your civilization before you were shocked by the Igbo democracy today? Ụzụ Awka will definitely make you guys shit your pants |
SuperBold: SuperBold: SuperBold:It seems you can't get over this igbo writing system. LOL. Culture vulture? You mistake me for Yoruba and Bini didn't you? The picture below exposes your ignorance. Look closely and see the Nsibidi in action. And please save yourself some dignity by not asking me if the man in picture is Igbo or not. You are making a fool of yourself
|
EMMY76:So you want to tell me that you monitor what married couples do in their rooms. Oga I am talking about Igbo custom here not Christianity. |
SuperBold:See what I am talking about. We are talking about Democracy here and you are bringing in your primitive kingship lol. We brokered deals and had confederacies (something Nigeria is asking for now ie restructuring) while you Savages were fighting kiriji wars and jihad. |
SuperBold:I can see that you just want to argue because Ndigbo did what your gods (the white men) did that made you worship them without making a fuss |
SuperBold:I told you to choose any of the numerous links there. Each statement there on this topic is accompanied with a link |
