Properties › Re: Lawyer condemns new Lagos law legalising ‘foundation fee’ by bkool7(m): 7:27am On Aug 26, 2016
sobmos:
Look at it from another angle... It's a welcome development, legalizing the so called "foundation fee" is an act devised by the Lagos state government to curb the incessant troubles by the land grabbers (omo onile)... Once you pay your foundation fee that's the end of the story, if after paying your foundation fee and you're still troubled by the omo oniles, that makes it illegal, and you can sue them in court.... If you live in ikorodu you'll understand what I'm saying, the omo oniles are the general overlords in ikorodu, after paying for a piece of land , the omo onile can collect it back and there's nothing you can do about it. People should look at this new law from a different angle, you'll find that it's the lasting solution to this so called omo onile brouhaha.
Oh!! Nairalanders, Will never read a post but will rush to comment.

How will the amount paid be determined?
What if a land with a house is sold and the new owner demolished it. Will he pay foundation fee to reconstruct again?
In some areas, the land owners are not touts, once they sold the land, they don't worry u again. Now, Lagos govt is now tell them to also worry us for foundation fee

since it's about irresponsible provocation, it's not the duty of the police to imbibe responsibility on citizens or the duty of the police to teach people not to hot tempered. If that's the case all irresponsible and disrespectful cases would be handled by the police.
It's the imminent violence that may occur if not cubbed that concerns the police.
The Police can't dictect an assassin and say they're waiting for him to commit the crime b4 arresting him.

Let's not let hatred and the hangover of the last election get in the way of objective reasoning

He didn't breach any peace bro, LIKELY TO CAUSE BREACH OF PEACE is what he is being accused of. Nigeria is indeed a necrotizing fasciitis- a flesh eating bacteria.

He is yet to commit the damn crime. Like accusing someone of " likely to rob or fight or huh" This is preposterous indeed.

Is this not madness, what breach of peace, so Nigerians shouldn't do what the feel like doing even though not illegal, because it might offend some backward and irrational people, this is giving into violence for peace, what an irony. These people would surely pay for their crimes someday starting from their god buhari. angry

Politics › Re: Tinubu, PDP And The Road To 2019 - By Dele Momodu by bkool7(m): 7:56pm On Aug 20, 2016
This epistle is trash and full of miscalculations.
Prior to the 2015 election I was certain beyond reasonable doubts that Buhari will surely win. I jus find it had to see how pdp fans couldn't see the handwriting.
Well, for Dele Momodu's info Yorubas didn't vote Buhari bicos of Tinubu. They voted him simply bicos they're fed up with the inept attitude of PDP for the past 16 years, And Buhari was the better candidate.
If this present collabo of Buhari/Osinbajo delivers, trust me, they've won the overwhelming support and vote of not only Yorubas but NIGERIANS in general. Except for those who think and vote along ethnic or religious lines-these ones won't vote Buhari even if he becomes a Pope.
So, all these permutations are nothing cos it the performance of this govt that'll pave the way

Well, it depends on the type of prisoners they use for the labour.
If they use a prisoner sentenced to 10 years and he's spend 9 years and some months. Escaping or trying to will only make things worst
