"The month of Ramadan is that in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. And Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship." Surah Al-Baqarah (2:185) - Again, what is meant is not just any recitation as you say! The Qur'an is a guidance for the people...

"O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and to overlook much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book." Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:15) - Here what is meant is not just any recitation as you say! It is a clear book!

So it is settled that Quran simply means to recite something like in yoruba language pofo.

Literally it means "the recitation"!

So to all whom are reading this please pay attention.

When we say Qur'an... it simply means to recite for example like the national anthem.


It doesn't mean anything special...because when the Muslims say Al Qur'an the make it sound like it is some kind of big word.

So Quran means to recite something that is already known whether fable( the lads that slept for 300 years in a cave) or plagiarism ( torah, Bible and Hinduism) .
