adioolayi: The Drs are not claiming saints in the interviews I've heard ...as a matter of fact, their representatives admitted they are also feeling the heat of the strike...but they are ready to go all out this time to ensure the Government do the right thing.
As a citizen, we cannot go on blaming civil servants..our leaders should do the right thing...these Drs salaries have been appropriated for in the budget, nothing stops the Government from paying them...they should pay! The have already been paid over and over again. Doctors are the highest paid in public service. Why? because they have people like u to use as bait against the govt. |

captainamiedi1: Then you don't kwn the importance of education to a country. The professor produce the civil servant and every educated person in the society. The professor produce the best brain that drives the economy. The professor produce research and innovation.
Little wonder developed countries pay teachers, lecturers more than other sectors. But I'm not surprise you are belittling the role of a professor If it's truth that Nigerian professors produce the best brains, u won't be here misquoting me |

HedwigesMaduro: They are probably the ones sponsoring kidnappers in Nigeria too, right? Wait...wait. I also remember a long time ago when an American embassy staff said "any attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the north". That same American envoy made a statement on "dogs and babboons" before the 2015 elections. I also heard one fella with a perfect American accent crying and praying for victory alqaeda and the Taliban some years ago. SMH. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit |

Nbotee: Federal govt will not accept the offer becos they are the sponsors of the terrorists.. How else does anyone explain their unwillingness to prosecute the BDC operators they claim are sponsoring the sect. How else can anyone explain the govt pardoning and paying supposedly repentant criminals?? If u follow world events u will know that there is no country that america "helped" that ever knew peace. America and the west are the sponsor of terror around the world. That's how they are able to sell billions of dollars of weapons |

Minister of Labour should do the right thing.... Health sector is am emergency sector, pay the Drs what is due to them...They are asking for what they've worked for and better condition of service.,..
We don't blame these ministers, because, if they want to do health check, they are already abroad...so, they are less concerned.
Minister of Labour and Minister of Health should be sacked!!! You are part of the problem of nigeria. Let them strike na, na all of us go suffer together |

captainamiedi1: How much is a lecturer been paid?? You professor doesn't earn more than 500k. Some of your lecturers earn 200k or 150k monthly. Is these what you call good pay?? They survive on bribe and text books sale.
How much has the federal government put into education?? Is there any institution that can boost of any standard??
Una go just open mouth waaaahh. If I have the power, I will shut down the entire education system till the government is ready. Professors earn almost 3 times the pay of a director in public service. It takes about 10years to be a professor, while a director takes more than 30years. You do the math. What exactly are they complaining about |
