Nothing wrong in Mbaka going to meet the president to complete the hospital he promised. Is it Mbaka's Hospital? He brought people he felt could do the job.

If this government is not been biased and have a personal agenda why not empower an ibo man, and a yoruba man the same way Dangote was empowered. Select people based on merits out of the shores of politics. Equip our police stations to standard, reinforce the military gear and armoury, focus more on the 774,000 jobs created and make tourism more interesting as well as include handiwork in our school curriculum right from the primary up to university level.

To do all these you don't even need to borrow money, simply slash the salaries of senators and house of reps members and within 8 months all these insurgency will end but the government would rather not do that. From what I've read from both sides it seems both Garba Shehu and Fr Mbaka are telling the same story from their own perspective.

Garba Shehu: Fr Mbaka came to asorock to beg for contracts and Mr President rebuffed him that contracts should follow the laid down laws on procurement. That this is why Mbaka is attacking Buhari


Fr Mbaka: I did not beg contract from anybody. I went to asorock with CONTRACTORS to demand that Buhari complete the hospital he promised during campaigns.


My verdict: Fr Mbaka went to asorock to demand Buhari award contract to his contractors. Buhari saw this as being strong armed by an ally and resisted his demands.

Bottom line: as the administration is coming to an end, Mbaka decided to grab his own piece of the pie before it's too late!


No matter how u spin the story, it is illegal for a private individual to give contractors to the government. That's clearly corruption. Even if u want buhari to build hospital, the contract would be advertised and qualified contractors will be selected following the Public Procurement Act. It shouldn't be mbaka's business who gets awarded the contract. So long as the hospital is built. Besides, was the said hospital captured in 2021 budget? From which purse will the hospital get built
