1. Comics are the source material. Animations are adaptations therefore they don't count
2. You do realize that there have been tons of Hulk iterations by various comic writers in the past 50+ years (earths 616, 1610 etc). Each with his own personality. Given your low interest in Hulk comics, how certain are you that you're not exhibiting selection bias?

Thanos is nowhere near the greatest villain of all time. Even Dr Doom and Norman Osbourne is better villain than someone obsessed over a woman in the marvel universe.

As for the Hulk thing, i know many peeps both IRL and on the internet that loved his portrayal in Ragnarok especially. Couldn't that just be proof of differing tastes and expectations from movies? Quit talking in absolutes.

I also know those that disliked him in Ragnarok and if you think that portrayal was good, then maybe I don't know

The killing joke was the closest to a comic book origin for the joker and Alan Moore rightly said it was not his origin story.

No comic book(s) has ever explored joker origin story fully other than him falling into a chemical and that is not enough for an origin.

Even he said, if his story was told, he would like for it to be multiple choice.
