In lay man term - Andriod is google's software stack for mobile device ( that includes an operating system and middleware) very similar to the Apples IOS for the iphone. Because these apps for android are based on java. it makes sense for us to learn about java before we dive into the world of Android development.

I have decided to learn how to write software programs for my android device .  Dont panic if you dont own an android device.  I am sure android has an emulator that can be installed on pc.

Hence i would like share this experience with others on NL who are interested. 

So journey with me  " GOOGLE IS GRADUALLY TAKING OVER THE world


I am sure it will be FUN .   I am also a beginner - but with dedication - everything is possible

A man with integrity cannot do business. While should i sacrifice this for an excessive ROI . Mr Poster look away from what you read in the papers what really matters is the reality on the ground. The truth is our environment does not encourage entrepreneurship. I once ran a printing company in Lagos not only was i contending with an excessive business environment, my staff were so corrupt that it was a better option to wind down the business or would have lost millions of Naira in machinery cost if i were to continue running the business at a loss.

How we seperate GEJ from Yara. The truth is i dont know. No doubt one became victim - but we MUST not disregard that the person mentioned took benefit from the system before the system turned on him.

My Own Experience


I went into contracting/self employed route cause i wanted to earn a bit more money and also the exposure to all kind of technologies in a relative short time which you can hardly get from permanent position as your career development will mostly be around what technology the company decides to invest in.  The IT contracting route has so far exposed to me to the following environments ( Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Unix).

at a stage the Focus Nigeria was shut down by the yar/gej cabal who could not handle the truth. At the moment i think focus Nigeria is now showing a watered down version. Anyway i dont watch it any longer

You are doing injustice to obama by comparing him to GEJ - .  Obama did not accidentally stumble on the presidential post  or  was voted for based on sentiments.  America needed someone who could turn economic woes around hence obama fitted the bill not because of " LUCK"  but on real plans/implementation - which the U S people bought into.

what can we say about Goodluck Jonathan who ordered soldiers to invade the Ijaw village of Ayakoromo in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State immediately he became President last year to kill, maim and burn the houses of innocent souls?. And even last week Thursday, May 12, 2011, Goodluck Jonathan again, ordered troops back to Ayakoromo village and in the guise of looking for John Togo, an acclaimed Militant, properties were again destroyed and innocent lives were lost. What a breath of fresh air indeed!

Why don't you guys contact the relevant agencies or authorities to know what really happened during his tenure or at best visit the state and make your own research?.   I hope some of you complaining here will put your money where your mouth is by contesting the next presidential elections so you can fix the country instead of running your mouths on nairaland everyday.

Mr Man  - you can do better than this  - why do u i have to contact an agency to find out  how a servant leader has impacted the lives of the masses. The impact if any should be clearly visible.  For your information many know GEJ never impacted the lives of people of bayesla in fact if you would like to know the man left behind a debt of N58 BILLION for a state that collects the 2nd highest federal allocation in the country and population of about 1.5 Million people . Bayesla has 2nd highest unemployment figures in country.

The thread was started to give your likes the benefit of doubt just in case we missed something  in relation to what the GEJ achieved - yet so far all the GEJ supporters have failed woefully.
