The performance of this state government is deeply disappointing—arguably one of the worst in Nigeria’s history. Despite a fivefold increase in federal allocation, how can a governor still refuse to pay the minimum wage? What exactly does the Labour Party stand for if it tolerates such injustice? This is simply unacceptable, and supporting this kind of inhumanity towards the workers of Abia State is indefensible.
