Exactly what a lazy minded person would say.
Interesting. What is the truth to you ?

Anyone can become the Nigeria president but you should do so with your own game plan, you don’t come and tell Tinubu who has done his planing , the man who worked with Buhari to form APC and delivered south west for APC to unsit a sitting president to leave the party platform for you igbos, who voted PDP, you even claimed it was Yoruba that voted APC to power, why are you now saying the APC Tinubu should abandon his ambition for your own selfish interest?
How can you be insulting Tinubu and then want him to support you? Infact, just mention one Igbo politician who is widely accepted by other ethnic groups

It’s know that you people lack emotional intelligence
You are obviously a mumu and you sound like a hormonal pregnant woman talking about emotional intelligence.

grin

I no too trust this man because he speaks from both sides of the mount grin grin

Was it not this same man that was canvassing for a president of middle belt extraction?
Now he has changed to IGBOS.
Dude he is actually indirectly soliciting for a north (central and/or eastern) candidate. From my experience in Nigerian politics, he already has a candidate (Or candidates) in mind and this statement is just a build up to announce who his true intentions (or intended candidate) I don’t know what any igbo man has ever done to you all to deserve this much hate.

Obi is the best fit for this job, but i don't think he will scale through. Poor Nigerians love who will torture them to death. We have seen what happened during the past administrations and still seeing what is happening under Buhari. Sad to say that we deserve the type of leaders we get.
I pray every Nigerian will do better this time around.

Imortal001:
Osinbajo my number one choice, then maybe obi., but Tinubu and Atiku should go and contest in cuba and cameroon respectively!
Osibanjo is not worthy to buckle Peter Obi’s shoe when it comes to credibility and experience in government. His best qualification is serving as vice under a government that has spiralled Nigeria into further destruction. Subtract sentiment from reason and you will have a positive result. Thank you.

The thirst for oil has plunged Nigeria into poverty. There are so many other resources in this country we could profit from. Every state in this country has something to offer.
I would like to further bring to our attention that in no distant future, this oil will be rendered obsolete and irrelevant to the rest of the world with the rate of advancement we are experiencing in the world ! Vehicles, which are the major consumers of petrol are moving forward to batteries for source of power (rechargeable cells for that matter) imagine a world where vehicles no longer rely on gas but rather rechargeable cells. Where would Nigeria fall in such a world ?
I tell you with all honesty, that world is fast becoming a reality. We have to look beyond greed and consider our future!
No amount of money hoarded will save any one from poverty in such a dimension!

Nigeria is not an Islamic state and therefore we are not bound by sharia law ! This Buhari’s government is the worst when it comes to managing the people ! Being partial and negligent

See the wild baboons protesting for bloody murderers. Abokîs, I say unto you......... Tempers are boiling down south. Millions are keeping tabs on your actions, and most importantly, what becomes of the Abokî murderers you're protesting for. We see how churches are burnt and business of southerners confiscated. You guys should be careful because if somehow this results to civil war, it won't just be Nigeria vs South east. Normally I trust that Igbo people alone can give you Abokîs a run for your money 1VS1. But add we the Niger deltans and south west...... The nature of the defeat.... The complete annihilation.... I'm not sure if words would be able to describe it.
I wouldn’t count on the west for any form of support they are all Docile ! I just hope the rest of the south and middle belt will be wise enough to join in arms.

At last!!! I was one of the first to call his attention to this evil plan by those people who never mean well for this platform. They are less than 5 of them but open multiple usernames to open several threads. I salute the statesmanly conduct of Seun. You are hereby recommended for a National award. God bless Nigeria, God bless Igboland, God bless Nairaland.
My dear you are not Igbo, stop being a fraud

You are funny. Very funny. What you don’t know is that you are also a victim you won’t know how vulnerable you are till Nigeria happens to you. Keep being comfortable under the canopy of tribe and a fraudulent political structure till that day comes. I wish you the best as I always wish every African sister.

Say no to terrorism should replace this succession thread instead
He loves us so much he wants us all to perish in their hands that’s not love ! That’s toxic ! If you Truly love Someone or something You let it go ! You love Igbos and Niger Deltans so much no condemnation has been made against the destruction of lives and properties that has befalling us in the North. Such a ludicrous declaration of affection.

Ogbuide17:
Self determination and freedom of speech are fundamental human rights, to take it away from us is to take away the very essence of our humanity.

Biafra is not about Nnamdi Kanu. It’s a movement founded on the aspiration of a people to be free.

Biafra is a spirit. It’s a concept whose time has come. NO MAN CAN STOP HER.

All democracies hold elections. But not all elections are democratic. Most elections held in Nigeria are not different from dictatorships and single-party governments that stage elections to give their rule the aura of legitimacy. The constitution is a supreme law that is binding even on the government. A constitution organises and constrains power. A constitution defines a state and the rights of its citizens. In a true democracy, the constitution ensures that the people ultimately control the government. The 1999 Constitution is none of the above.
The 2023 elections will be held based on the forged, fraudulent, and frivolous 1999 Constitution. Due to its illegality, Nigerians have clearly and loudly said no elections should be held. They reasoned that with the current state of the state characterised by inequality, nepotism, lopsided federal government, violence, killings, unrest, corruption, poverty, and other associated evils, a referendum is what we need in 2023 and not elections.
What’s wrong with holding a referendum to determine and decide why and who should stay together? What’s wrong with coming together to discuss the terms on how to live together? What’s wrong with voting in a referendum whether Yorubas want Yoruba Nation or Igbo people should get the Biafra Republic? What’s wrong for different ethnic groups to determine their own political status, to freely pursue their economic, social, and cultural development? What’s wrong to have the right to determine our own destiny?
The referendum will solve the age-long rivalry and acrimonious rancour among Nigeria’s different nationalities by having the option of going their separate ways - for good! I believe northerners will be the greatest beneficiary from a referendum. For example, a referendum that leads to separation will make it possible for Fulani herdsmen to rear their cows unmolested and unrestricted from Kano to Kaduna. The northerners will be able to make the north an Islamic Emirate. They will be governed by Sharia law. They won’t have to contend with Yorubas clamouring for progress, civilisation. Yorubas won’t be able to dilute or pollute northerners’ brand of Islam. They will be free from the liquor stores and beer parlours operated by the Yorubas. Of course, they won’t have to fight over western civilisation. They will have no trouble accommodating Boko Haram terrorists and other northern extremist groups like Miyetti Allah. And much more!
With the 1999 Constitution, and all things being equal, regardless of who becomes president in 2023, Nigeria will remain a killing field, a stunted country, a country of cowards and crooks, of parasites and paupers, and an ungovernable country with endangered people.

Futhermore ;what is living ;without freedom.

"The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great-grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities of the North as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over their future." ~ Ahmadu Bello
Beautiful piece.Sir !
Premier Ahmadu Bello much like all his followers never liked members of southern Nigeria, Igbos and Yorubas alike. He considered themselves to be Superior citizens to us. Cited in an interview, he in fact stated executive positions of the state belongs to Northerners followed by expatriates (foreigners) before consideration was given to the south. Being a Minority tribe in Nigeria I also strongly believe in the “referendum” you stated. Why Nairaland Will oppose freedom in their forum is beyond me, It is obviously political and borne out of the same bias that has limited this country for so long. Banning people from your forum won’t change the fact that we are all affected by this plague. Except you are outside the country, no amount of money will insulate your from the downfall that is glooming over us. Stop the Bias ! And be open to the truth. No matter what tribe you are, as long as you are not an Islamic northerner you will always be considered a lower class citizen ! Even The great Tinubu himself will still and will always be considered a lower class citizen. That is not democracy, that is just Pure Hatred.
