Op, I really feel sorry you had to go through that experience.
I fly often and understand ur plight.
However:
1. U can't be at 30000 (FL300) 5 mins after takeoff -very impossible, except u were in an F-16.
2. A lot of us Nigerians don't know wat a good weather is when flying is concerned. Ever heard of CAT? Clear air turbulence? Or have u ever been in an aircraft that dropped suddenly and climbed out almost immediately?

I don't work for dana, nor do I have a relative dat work for dem or they pay me, but I still fly them even after their crash. American Airlines, air france, kenya airways, and malaysian airlines are still flying.

From an aviators POV, shit happens, but we always pray it doesn't get to us.

Mind u, no pilot, engineer or cabin crew wants to die.

My person, I tire oh. Someone just came here to tell us he got the mail for the next stage and we just bought it. No proof no nothing.

Out of over 50 that were there on Thursday not to mention Wednesday and Friday. He seems to be the only one who got the mail.

I haven't heard of anyone who has received an email for the next stage after the interview and assessment.

I still maintain u know nothing about aviation..... in the aircraft there is the student pilot and the trainer, except in the case where the student is on solo/solo cross country flight. the flight instructor is in most cases, a seasoned retired airline pilot or one who has gone through the certified flight instructor training program.

wat do u want stella to do about a crash @ Ghana that has its own GCAA? should she have died cos ppl died on dana? I lost frnds on that crash. most of my other frnds became jobless.
we as citizens don't know the calls made within n outside the aviation ministry in the event of the dana crash dat later called for the sack of the past DG of the NCAA, demuren.

citizenisb: Dana Air flight 356 from Abuja to Lagos which landed miraculously at 7:30pm at MM2 airport Lagos after its right engine was lost mid air 30 minutes to Lagos. Luckily for the passengers the solo engine was able to manage a safe landing unlike the IJU Dana Plane which lost both engines and crashed.

It's a pity these Indians continue to play with the lives of innocent Nigerians but nemesis will catch up with them one day!!!

please shut ur mouth..... engine failure is a normal thing, no machine is 100% efficient.
when things happen in Nigeria, its always blown out of proportion and ppl like u make silly comments. please check major airliners world wide, u will be shocked to know Nigeria's airspace is one of the safest.

besides, u aint an aviator to know wat an 'engine failure' is and the procedures in managing it.
