ogakpatakpata: Anything you can find in Nigeria markets, it is cheaper here because most companies in China, US,UK and ITALY have several outlets here, so you can buy in large quantities at a discounted price and sell in Nigeria, again, once they build trust in you, some companies will give you goods to sell and come back and pay, BUT THEY HAVE TO TRUST YOU ENOUGH TO DO THAT WITH YOU.

There are very minute and small businesses people do here and make jumbo profits. My friend send/transfers money here almost weekly to buy USB battery to power your phones,(it is a small device you can put in your pocket to charge your phones while the battery is down) he has use that line of business to wreck a fortune for himself. He sells them in Abuja. Finally, if you are a lady and knows how to braid hair, that could also put extra incomes into your pocket.

ogakpatakpata: You are welcome; don't be discouraged at all the infos from the forum, it is nothing but the truth,it is not meant to scare anyone, but, rather it is better to be well prepared spiritually,mentally,psychologically,emotionally and FINANCIALLY before you get into the plane heading to the UAE.

A quick addition to that, if you live in Sharjah, factor in your to/fro expenses daily to Dubai, it can eat deep into your pocket, in my personal opinion, if you don't get a high paying job,l wont advise you live in Sharjah.It doesnt make sense.Sharjah will be good, if you have a good job that pays you well,but, if you earn a meagre salary, it is not advisable, it will become penny wise and pound foolish.

justi4jesu: If you decide to stay in sharjah its affordable with that amount for 2persons in a room but you have to go through an agent like ogakpata has rightly said. Houses in sharjah are cheap and you can get 2persons in a studio room which is like a self contain in Nigeria for that amount. And 1 important thing is that if you make payment for the rent by cheque is less expensive than paying hand to hand e.g you can be charged 1500 by cheque or 2000dirhams hand to hand for that same studio. But you can still get the house by yourself if you are ready to walk around under the hot sun and search for it. But the thing is that you won't know anywhere there so where will u start from?

ogakpatakpata: No, it doesn't work that way ooooo!!, what happens is that an agent will rent a flat,lets say 2 bedroom for 5000 dhs per month, water and light inclusive,depending on the arrangement with the landlord, then the agent will now sublet it and put 6,7,8 or even 10 guys in the flat to re-coup the monthly rent,that is why you see they charge $200 per person/month.If you want 1 room self contain,bachelor or studio as the case maybe, you might spend between 4000 dhs to 5000 dhs per month. UAE is expensive.

1 I want to borrow the 2.5 million from somebody and then return back 1.5million to the person after settling down and doing part time job in Norway

2 [b]because of the competetive nature of the course i will apply, i will fake a document showing that i have working experience and the document will have signatures and stamps of the company my aim of doing this is to have a preferential consideration over oda applicants having the same GP with me

pls these two risks, are they productive or does it have any side effect,
