A few people will be able to relate to your post. Yeah.... Botnet/malware is extremely disastrous as I have first hand experience of its impact. My computer got compromised about four years ago and a funds were stolen from a website that I built.

I'm still facing the consequences of that attack.
There's no amount of explanation you can do to convince non tech savvy people about a botnet attack situation. You are the first suspect for any kind of security breach and you are solely responsible for any compromise.
You will pay for money that you didn't take. It's extremely dangerous. I can't stress this enough. That is why as an expert in cybersecurity don't ever sell yourself cheap to clients.
If anything goes wrong, no mercy for you. Don't settle for one class you enrolled for online and then you begin to paste all over your social media account that you are a certified cyber security expert.

Those guys that teach the courses don't make the hacking tools. The original creators are often behind a mask. Hiding with different aliases, ghosts. You must be updated constantly on the kind of projects they are working on in order to shield yourself from being victimized.
The most recent hacking tool video that you just saw on YouTube have been in use for the past two years by blackhat hackers. They are always a step ahead.

Number 1: upload your projects to github. Every single original working code should be uploaded to your github account because that is your cv as a programmer. Make sure your github project is well organized.
Number 2: Learn a bit of photoshop and polish the frontend of your codes. Place them on device mockups and share them on YouTube or Facebook. Use Hashtags. Make sure you use Hashtags. If you can use video editing apps to create a short clip that's your selling point. Only another programmer will be impressed by your code.

Most folks will just look at your frontend appeal. That's your selling point, don't mess with it.

I will advise that you consider using Instagram instead until LinkedIn issue is resolved. Use a lot of Hashtags bro. If you want to gain attention fast. Make a redesign of popular banking apps. And tag them. Or music app. Just redesign something that already exists. Add something new and be creative.
