The closeness to the true turn of events this guy mentioned makes me believe him more. There were clear reports mid last uear that US govt restricted visas to a few members of the Niherian UNGA delegation. The government propaganda denied it. Later found to be TRUE Thwre was also news then that the US president redused tibhave any meeting with the Niherian government despite many desperate attempts by the Nigerian delegation to set up one. The government people denied it but oater found to be TRUE There were reports of diplomatic pressure on Nigeria to release the Binance guy ansld a few days later the court set him free. The government people fordt denied it but the giy was set free under health reasons...TRUE All the 3 events above make me believe this story more than any spinning from the Nigerian authorities or their paid sympathisers. The fact that he referred to the current people leading Nigeria as "muppets" is damning. Anybody who comes into contact with this set of current leaders quickly realises their emptiness, cluelessness and ineptitude. Nigeria is in deep shit |
I believe the Binance executive more. |

Lol.....I dont know all, sir , and I am open to learning. If there are factors that are in the public space that I am not privy to, I am willing to read them up. I have been an avid reader and student of international politics right from my early days(i used to help my father make good use of his old "Economist" magazine editions in the 80s by reading them up instead of him throwing them away) If you can make the factors that I may not be privy to available to me, I would be grateful to read and learn more. Lol... ....some of you are high on cheap drugs. 1. How is this an injustice? The Invictus games is for injured men and women of lower ranks, not for Generals. Stay back home and do serious work instead of chasing estacodes. Other Generals are busy with serious work of protecting their countries, not junketing up and down to go and cheerlead lower ranks in goodwill games. 2......and why would Canada be jealous of success of fighting terrorism? How does that affect them? To start with, what recent success? Same one where farmers still get killed daily by terrorists, schools raided by bandits weekly and regular kidnappings of military men on a daily basis in the North? Canada has a bigger fish to fry with US/Trump and dont have time for one inconsequential and degenerating shithole. flokii: |
Legendhero has been found out to be a capital IGNORAMUS on this thread... ![]() Helineus was found out to be an illiterate on one thread Casuaobserver was found out to be a poorly educated and ignorant fellow on one thred EmperorCaesar was found out to be a buffoon on one thread One by one they will inadvertently expose their ignorance and buffoonery for all to notice. |
Lol...dont let him know yet. Let him continue to dance naked. DOGE is a US government set-up under its jurisdiction. BINANCE is a private entity. jaephoenix: |
Lol....the guy called LegendHero is an illiterate pretending to have any knowledge. The funny thing is some people on Nairaland are hailing him, thereby giving him false impression of being knowledgeable. Ojuntana: |
Lol...I hope no one is reading what this ignoramus is writing and accepting it as knowledge. First off, according to International data privacy conventions, countries only have jurisdiction on data where the servers from which the information being requested are domiclied in such a country or terminated in such a country. For instance, if I operate a business in Guyana and my servers are resident there but I have customers who use my services in Nigeria but such services are accessed using a private medium(e.g. VPN) that is not domiciled in Nigeria, the Nigerian government has no right to request for any private information of my customers, even if they are residents of Nigeria. That has been established. That is why most countries request for an onsite server for most internet based entities. The moment dude stated "online and offline", I knew he was a complete ignoramus at that point, with no idea of what he was writing about. The Binance guys were right, they knew International law more than the buffons parading as security/intelligence operatives on Nigeria, including the NSA. So long as their servers were not domiciled in Nigeria, they have no obligation to hand any info to Nigeria's govt. On China, I know China has restricted (not banned) the use of Face book/Twitter/Whatsapp and a host of other American/Western apps in China but you could still access them via VPNs so long as they are VPNs with servers in China(i used this). The reason for the restriction was because China asked that the servers of those companies be domiciled in China and access for data made available to the Chinese government but they refused. Bro...I marvel at how people just believe anything coming fron the government sources without even putting their brains to work by doing a small veracity or reasonability check. They came out to say subsidy had to go because Nigeria was using 97% of earnings to service debt snd it was because Buhari birrowed too much( was shocked that some supposed learned people carried on with this lies). But nobody has asked what percentage of earnings is now being used to service debt now that Tinubu has borrowed far more in 2 years than Buhari borrowed in 8 years. Nobody has thought it necessary to see that Tinubus government was bandying lies up and down to hide their ineptitude. Truth will surely come out when he is booted out in 2027. Ojuntana: |
This is one more reason not to believe any rubbish coming from government sources. The man who boasted of getting the best brains to manage the economy has suddenly found out that they are inept and clueless |
Lol.......an illiterate below LegendHero: |
Lol....Spot on. I have been saying this here for nearly 2 years. The "floating" of Naira was a miscalculation disguised as reforms. Someone or some people gave the government a wrong advice, and Tinubu, being a someone who does not camly review things, in his quest for personal glory, just like for many things he knew nothing about but took as his personal achievements, rushed to devalue the currency. They did not expect it to get this terrible. A pointer to that is when both the Minister of Finance was boasting that Naira would not ecred 700/800 if it was "floated"....it is been 1700 for nearly 2 years. They dismd not think it deeply. They miscalculated. I knew all the narratives that came after about people manipulating the exchange rates or saboteurs destroying naira value were manufactured by the government to cover their ineptitude. As well, all the stories about Buharis govt using $2billion to defend the Naira monthly as a justification to "float" naira were nothing but hogwash to hide away their cluelessness after the initial blunder. I dont believe anything this govt says. More truth will come out after this government is booted out |
Lol....If they deny him, nothing will happen. Make Ojo no go disgrace himself In serious countries, the Chief of Defence staff, a career military leader, carries more weight in diplomacy than an interior minister who is a politician....Google General Mike Milley of US Admiral Radakin of UK, etc, for confirmation. If they coukd deny your Chief of Defence staff, your highest ranked military man(a potential head of state if a miligary coup happens) who is Olubunmi Ojo? TheRareGem1: |
Lol....lack of respect for Nigeria? Does any serious country still respect Nigeria? |
Lol....dreamer. Your knowledge is limited. Nations are viewed and regarded according to their political economic, military and leadership strengths. Chikena!! All those sports, arts and entertainment are just for extrinsic entertainment value only when serious Nations are being considered. Nobody invites you to G7/G20 just because your country men won the world cup or one of your own won the grammy award in music or the Oscar in movies. You actually dont know anything about global politics. Even in Business and Investments, Nigeria is not the hotpspot for such in Africa ,talkmore of the world(check the value FDIs to African countries in the last 5 years). Rwanda is even ahead of Nigeria on that index. Google is your friend on this. It is not about sitting on your lazy bum, reading myopic Nigerian dailies and assuming you are a giant on social media,Nigeria as a country is a joke right now. The world notices the direction a country is taking before considering how serious they are and the type of leadership you have is a critical contributor. You cant vote in corrupt and inept leaders and expect an open arm all the time. They have started showing how useless you are by denying your senior officials visa. The whole world has Tinubu's file, he can only do all the bravado to myopic people like you in Nigeria. He is a criminal to the outside world.. Your knowledge of international politics is limited and your value accretion system is warped too, to worsen it. EmperorCaesar: |
Does Nigeria still have any image ? After voting in a retired drug bagman who forges certificates and loots with glee, the world took notice of how useless Nigeria has become. Image completely vanished. LagosOrigin: |
How? ....with the lamentations and the tears since yesterday? Imagine the type of undiplomatic and uncouth language coming from an NSA just because of mere visa refusal...lol. E pain them EmperorCaesar: |
Lol....you are quoting Nigerian newspapers. Go and read about the Richard Rufus story and the ponzi scheme Matthew was involved in. He ran awaybbefore investigation was concluded. If they born him well, let him enter UK today. Bloody scammer Therebis a reson he ran back to Nigeria to get involved on real estate, another way of scamming people. hisexcellency34: |
Lol.....do you even understand the gibberish you have written below, yourself? And If I may ask, where did you get the story of just $7bn only being available and the $500m story from? Government sources abi? Lol....your case is hopeless, there is no point trying to engage you. If someone cant take a piece of information and go and do an independent review of it on his own to be sure what is being said is correct or not but swallows hook, line and sinker, that is the true dedinition of a simpleton. That is you. By the way, let me refer you to IMF Board report on March 2024 on the Nigerian fake reforms embarked upon by this failure of a government. Maybe that will open your eyes. There was also another article on it on Reuters, where they called it "directionless". There was a reason IMF came out in October/November 2024 to say the reforms were not working and would not work. They.were not capping. I dont read or get knowledge from comments on Nairaland, i do deep research. Its my field. By the way, the target audience of my comments on China understood my response and its superiority over the thinking that China "weakened its economy" deliberately. Only dafts will struggle with that. You can avoid me as you said, but it is your loss. You will only lose knowledge. masseratti: |
Lol...Did anyone consider this criminal a prophet before? . There was a reason this man scrammed from UK due to tax evasion cases. If he dare stepped into the UK today, he will be in jail the next minute. Agba scammer!! It is only in Nigeria where criminaks come to hide and get revered. |
Lol...Biodun, ani go back to school seh.....or stop posting on topics beyond your reasoning capacity. Biodun556: |
Lol....responses akin to musings of a daft. 1. What is being realistic in someone looting and giving you stipends to celebrate? That is a beggar mentality. The same that has got you from a country that was a centre of atrraction in investments and tourism to a pariah state being classed among the world's worst. Mumu realism. 2. What you should be focused on is to eliminate that type of a situation or minimise it to the barest level. Mentioning that lots of people even steal billions and grt away with it shows how perilous and hopeless your nation is. It is a shame you are even happy one out of the lot remembered to give you stipends out of the loot. You have all been so brain-buttered to praise worshiping your oppressors to the extent that you have accepted it as a norm with people stealing and getting away with it. 3. Now this paragraph got me so hilariously reeling....( at this point I knew this was a dreamer/illusionist). Starting with Singapore, go and read through their economic developmets from 1965 when they brike from Malaysia and the roles US and Japan played in making them what they are today. Not sure you read more than passing comments of their recent history, from your commets, it is obvious you know little about that. Singapore did not chose a certificate forger and an ex drug man as it s leader. It mever chise the worst of their polulation to lead them South Korea? Again, you know little about their development. Take USA's cold war geopolitics out, South Korea would be ranking eith either Myanmar or Vietnam in economic development. Do you think it is just coincidences that US has most of its military bases in whole of pacific/Asia in Korea? You know nada. Nigeria does not have dame privilege. Miracles dont just happen like that anymore Rwanda? In what terms would any sane human being put Rwanda on the same oedestal of comparison or measurement with Nigeria?? . What exactly has Rwanda tuened around other than having a dictator as their leader? You dont know anything about geopolitics and its obvious you are just grappling at examples you dont have any idea about to press home your daft points. Nigeria can not and will jot turn anything around... not in your generarion and 5 more of them to come. MIKOLOWISKA: |
Correct!!!... economy is dollarised. USD is a currency of choice, even in Nigeria. If they ever advised anyone to devalue his currency to stabilise it, that person should have known that, as long as USD is preferred to local Naira, the devaluation will have a double negative impact. People will work hard to get naira to buy the few USD available because certain transactions are better conducted in USD, even in Nigeria now, the USD is a better store of value. So why were you dumb to allow for devaluation ? hatchy: |
Lol....oh...did you think I would get into a discussion with someone so shallow on this topic before? Anyone who thinks that devaluing Naira in 2023 was a right advice, when Naira was subjective to USD even in the Nigerian economy, woth low export mechanism, without first sanitising the financial system to de-dollarise the economy, and with so much excess liquidity of Naira to chase the scarce USD, that person should go back to cattle rearing or moi moi hawking. 100 million times over, it will always be the wrong-est advice. masseratti: |

Nigeria isn't that small Canada won't try that with the Kagame led regime of Rwanda. You can't compare the CDS with an average Nigerian it's just like comparing Mr President with everyone. Either Tinubu or not Nigeria sovereignty should be uphold learn to honor your country
