@ OKX if they are not so few. Where are they?? I dont mean those that know how to do coreldraw and work in business centers. I'm asking for those very passionate in trade and creativity. |
noblezone:No you're absolutely wrong. His interference did not take the country backwards. His intentions when he took over power then were clear. He wanted to rid Nigeria of corruption and indiscipline, which are the element of destruction of any democracy. Unfortunately he was not given the opportunity for long, here we are now. As for him running PTF under Abacha, could you tell me who was the boss, Buhari or Abacha? Can Buhari the head of PTF at that time control the head of state? Till now there's still no charge against him when he was the head of PTF. Well it's up to your to vote for Jonathan, sunning an inefficient government surrounded by corrupt cohorts. I still havent seen anything that man has done dat cant be done by anyone. |
@ Daresmith, U're right, Im an admirer of Ribadu but looking at the present realistic scenario, the Ribadu 2011 is weak. That's why I'm not voting him. You and I know he cannot get more than 20% of this country's vote. I'm voting on who is against corruption and who is more likely to win and that is BUHARI. |
As much as we admire Nuhu Ribadu for his great work during his tenure as director of EFCC(his only achievement), voting him is a wasted vote. Lets face it he wouldnt even win in any geographical location. He is not popular and also lacks experience. The best team that can unseat the PDP is Buhari/Bakare. That's the absolute truth. Ribadu's not culling more than 1.5 million votes in this elections. My advice, join a better team, ACN presidential ticket is unrealistic |
Yeah Ugo I kinda agree with you but I'll phrase it this way - there are several graphic artist in Nigeria but the ones with passion and skill for the trade are few. |
@ H$LBroker You're such a shallow-minded religious bigot. Could you please tell me a God-approved leader? Obama who backs homosexuals and abortion rights Jonathan who's corrupt and has corrupt associates running the country to the detriments of people like you? Ghadaffi like every world leader has his flaws which includes the fact that he's a terrorist sponsor and proud mothafocka, but I choose to look at his strengths which outweigh his flaws. He made Libya the great nation it is. He put the wealth of the people in their hands. What's happening in Libya is pretty unfortunate, but it is bound to happen. Dictatorship is very fragile in the world we live today. Best case scenario I see Ghadaffi using force to reclaim the whole Libya under his rule. Mild case scenario I see Libya being divided Worst case scenario - CIVIL WAR |
At first I was a fan of the middle east jasmin revolution, it was borne out of suffering, corruption and human rights abuse. Now in the case of Libya and Bahrain, it is not that anymore, it's an issue of using protests to unseat leaders you hate. Of course Ghadaffi had opposition. Now if you can see vividly, the Libyan situation is that of opposition against the government. No matter what anybody says about Ghadaffi, the fact remains that he is a strong leader of his country. He is a dictator yeah, but he put the wealth of his own people in their own hands. If Ghadaffi's administration was no good, how come hundreds of thousands of Nigerians are based there? We in Nigeria have had a democracy for 12 years with nothing to show for it. Wealth is only allocated for a few while hundreds of millions are in penury. hope the Libyan problem gets resolved successfully. |
Libya is certainly not Egypt, Gadaffi is certainly not Mubarak. Thig guy Ghadaffi has done alot and has gone away with it. I advice Libyans not to protest, else they die unnecessarily. I advice opposition think up better approaches that would not incite violence. |
This issue shud not be handled by the police. It shud be handled by OPC |
GEJ needs to shut the trap of this disgraceful illiterate. He's talking about his commitment to education, I think he should start with his household first. |
@ Nsiman Poor handling of Jos crisis. This man met this scenario in office and may leave office with this issue still haunting. Corruption still thriving Please refer also to Danuma's report http://allafrica.com/stories/201101210808.html Dats all i can state for now, have to get back to work |
@ Nsiman, because God permits sumting doesnt mean He wills it. I really marvel on your level of spirituality. So you mean say if you fall enter gutter, na the will of God? As far as I'm concerned, God doesn't will corruption, incompetency, impulsive decisions, poor coordination, etc which are all features of GEJ. |

wales:I hate when people get so gullible by attributing one's successes to the will of God. How can you infer that a weak leader surrounded by corrupt sycophants is God's will? As far as I'm concerned you use the name of God to suit your political views and to my understanding of God, that's an offensive sin. |
