You cannot say it is for proximity because my brother that is a big fat lie. The traffic on that Ajah axis now to VI is even worse than the traffic from the mainland to VI. If I were you I will stay put on the mainland. The place in AJah you described is not even worth the stress.

Guy sorry to say but you need to break up with the girl......I have had similar experience before and it was so frustrating and painful. There is no point forcing yourself on a girl that doesnt appreciate you. When my ex and I finally broke up, I met my wife a few months later. My ex was so surprised and was even thinking I was dating my wife while I was with her. Fortunately for me a mutual friend hooked me and my wife up. After a year I proposed and married her a few months later. I really don't see why a big deal is being made out of this. Both of you are neither wrong nor right. Your wife is right to be part of the pictures as she is now one of your mother's children by marriage and it's a good thing she feels that connection to your mother and family. It means she genuienly loves your family and wants to be part of you all. Where she is wrong is making a big deal out of it. Marriage requires a lot of love and understanding. Don't listen to anyone saying anything negative about your wife. That is totally unacceptable and disrespectful. Make peace with your wife and move on. Everyones family and extended family are not the same. Don't let people corrupt your mind. Your marriage is your marriage and not the business of the people on Nairaland.
