Hezekiah Okoro Nweje, was an Anglican priest. A native of Onitsha in Anambra state. He was born in 1919 and died in June 1962. He was nicknamed "Holy Nweje" because of his very humble, extreme righteous, easy going & a humanitarian life he lived. He was tenaciously devoted to the things of God. Whatever gifts he receives from the church he shepherded was always shared with those in the vineyard, the poor and the less privileged. He doesn't hoard·them at the expense of the needy. In his philosophy, he believed that wealth was sharing what you have without hoarding it. At a time, he was nominated for the position of the Anglican Bishop on the Niger, he declined and nominated someone he felt was more qualified Rev. Hezekiah Okoro Nweje was seen as an upright, spotless and a righteous man. It was all those outstanding qualities he possessed while alive that brought about the name "Holy Nweje". Depicting how holy one can be. He believed ones anger should not see the next moment. In May 1956 Onitsha and Obosi were tussling for a piece of land, Rev Nweje was called as a witness, he told the Judge that none of the towns owned the land, na "Ani bu ani Chukwu" The land and thereof is of the lord. That ended the land tussle. He was always on the side of peace.· Around April 1956, during the daytime local thieves invaded his house in Onitsha and stole tubers of yam and fowl, he ran after them and told them to come and take more cited hunger as the reason for their unconventional behavior. What a man! Growing up in Igbo land, if seen or perceived as an upright person, you would be called or nicknamed "Holy Nweje" When next you're called HOLY NWEJE, do not feel ashamed or mocked. It tells good of you. Nweje Lane in Onitsha metropolis is a street named to immortalize him.

The Federal Government has said in the next few weeks it is going to provide 500, 000 petty traders across the country micro loans of N5 bn to cushion the economic hardship caused by coronavirus lockdown . It said it would do this through the Tradermoni, Marketmoni and Farmermoni programmes , adding that 100, 000 of such traders had already got the loans . A statement from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development indicated that it would be doing this through the Government Entreprise and Empowerment Programme, which had been activated . It is one of the social intervention programmes , comprising TraderMoni, MarketMoni and FarmerMoni, and executed by the Bank of Industry . The statement read in part , “ GEEP is a completely digitised programme where all eligible traders are captured into a database , verified via phone and facial recognition technology, and receive disbursements in mobile wallets . “ Over the next few weeks , a total of N5bn is expected to be disbursed through GEEP, reaching up to 500, 000 petty traders nationwide . “ With several states going on lockdown , petty traders and micro enterprises are hit the hardest as they live on daily incomes from trade. “ These loans are to cushion the income losses, while also enabling these traders to serve their communities with essential items like food , hygiene products, and domestic supplies . The first phase of 100, 000 loans has kicked off. ” It added that one of the rounds of disbursements had been carried out at the Obalende Local council development Area Community Market in Lagos . Finding the perfect guy for you is
never easy and it can be even
more difficult to keep and
maintain a strong relationship
with your perfect guy once
you’ve found him . Every
relationship has ups and downs,
but it’s all about how much effort
you put in to make your
relationship work.
To make your relationship work,
you need a little more patience
and extra effort. Here are a few
tips on how to keep your perfect
guy madly in love with you and
make your dreams of a happy
future with him come true.
1)Appreciate Your Man:
One of the easiest ways to lose
your guy is to take him for
granted. If you don’t want to lose
your guy make sure he knows
how much he means to you.
Though guys can act
independent and show less
emotion than women , they do
actually need just as much caring
and love. Appreciate and support
him no matter what, instead of
nagging and insulting him for
things he cannot do. Never try to
change him, love him simply for
who and what he is.
2)Be a Loyal Friend and a Faithful
Partner:
A couple who shares a good
relationship as friends will
maintain a stronger romantic
relationship . It is important to be
a good friend as well as an
understanding romantic partner.
Share things with your partner
when you have a personal
problem or if you sense an issue
in your relationship. This will
make him feel that he is
important in your life and help
him understand that you are a
faithful partner. Learn to see your
guy as your best friend and as
well as your boyfriend.
3)Have a Good Sense of Humor:
Men usually find a woman with a
great sense of humor very
attractive. This doesn’t mean you
have to act overly silly or keep
telling jokes though. The key is to
learn how to have a positive
attitude in spite of any problems
and understand the value humor
and fun. The ability to laugh off
life’s little problems and see
things in a positive light is what
men look for in a woman.
4)Last but certainly not least:
Continue to learn new things and
improve upon the person you
are . Doing so will ensure that he
always finds you attractive and
irresistible. Everyone has their
own personal priorities, interests
and hobbies, and your
relationship should not interfere
in these things, it should enrich
it.
Give him space and allow him to
be himself and you will find that
keeping your boyfriend forever
madly in love with you is not as
complicated as you think. |
