My precious daughter arrived via elective Csection today 6/10/2022 weighing 3.6kg at 37 weeks 1 day.

Baby girl is doing fine, mama is trying to recover too.

Your baby's weight is what is pushing your Edd backward, most hospitals work with LMP Edd and not scan own. But there is possibility of you porting to October. May God make it easy for us all.

Hi mama, I think she doesn't want to take any chances. I have been experiencing on and off cramps too but no other signs yet.

Yes she doesn't want to take chances, i was able to chat with someone that was in a similar situation at the same hospital.She gave birth three days to her scheduled surgery date.

I will suggest you prepare for both but if you are a good candidate for VBAC, there's no reason why you should not go for it.
Only change your mind if there's a medical issue.

Thanks mama, i have decided to work on natural method of induction. Whichever method it is may God's will be done.

My fellow team October how is it going? It's our turn to testify.

Am a little bit confused, i met with gynae yesterday and she outrightly suggested that i go for elective CS based on the fact that i had emergency CS due to failed induction six years ago when i had my first.

I asked her if there is any other reason why i cant try VBAC asides that she said no, so i told her to give me till next week so i can think about it.

I really want to try VBAC since i am eligible for it, my prayer is that I experience fast labor. I started experience menstrual like cramps and back ache two days ago, i guess my body is already getting set.

Update: I have met the doctor in the hospital I use. The doctor said epidural is 100k aside the hospital bills that.
I will gladly go for it if it will have no side effects.

39 weeks and 3 days today, saw egg white discharge yesterday as if I was ovulating but early this morning the mucus plug came out with strips of blood.

We will hear good news soon .

Nothing much, just make sure you dont stress yourself and run away from carrying heavy objects.

The queen is home . She joined the family yesterday morning through elective CS.

The queen is getting used to her new throne and mother queen is in recovery process.

Okay mama. According to LMP we are 35 weeks but the scan I did two days ago has shelved three weeks off and moved date to November so I am confused. Although the difference between the first scan done at 6 weeks and LMP is two days.

Hospitals make use of LMP not scan date coz scan date is mostly determined by the weight of the baby.

Mine was vertical, I read VBAC is not always recommended till i see gynae though.

Teamie abeg enjoy ur milk and Milo in peace, am also a fan of hot Milo and Milk in pregnancy and na so so 3.1kg and 2.9kg I born, dis journey now na Custard and hollandia Milk, I no fit kill myself

Custard and hollandia milk is my breakfast every morning ,if I don't take it i take tea and bread. Am not giving myself unnecessary stress all cos i don't want baby to be big.

This hot water bath has been a life saver for me cos the body pain no be here at all o.
Baby weighed 2.8kg today at 33 weeks 6 days and Dr said if it goes beyond 3.5kg it will a repeat CS, I really wish for a VBAC sha but I'm fine with any mode of delivery.

Sugarcoatted I finally went to M&C today o, how body?

Was your CS incision vertical or horizontal? I was asked to wait till 36 weeks before seeing gynae to decide if I am a candidate for VBAC or not.

. Cappo no vex ooo. I have been unable to respond to roll call for a while because I lost my Dad and elder sis on the same day.. the shock and stress of everything has been on my body. Couple with my condition I haven't been my self.. Baby Sex is XX.
