Hello, everyone. Its been a long time i appeared here. My semester was really busy because i resumed late. Now am done with my exams and i should be able to appear here once in a while.

My Apology also goes to those who requested i give a little description of Germany, which i couldn't do. Am really sorry. Today reminds me of the very first day, i wrote on this page when i had serious issues with my visa and some "hungry lions" jumped at me. But thank God, today i am in Germany. I discovered that this visa issues might be very discouraging most times, but i will say to everyone out there, seeking admission or visa to come over here, pls be encouraged and God will make a way for you.

Hello everyone, its been a while I checked here since I arrived in Germany some few weeks ago. I must really say that the hustle to get here is worth it...for my brothers still trying to push through pls just press on and above all believe not in your ability but in God.

The system here really demands you read and study...just be prepared for that...

Pls ooo, my e-family, on the mail I got to come for my visa, it was stated that "my departure should be scheduled at least 7 days from the posting of my envelope". pls I don't seem to understand that.

What if after getting my visa,i postpone the day I want to travel, what will happen?

what will they ask me at the airport?...is there any interview at the embassy for collection of visa?

pls any other advice that will be needed is highly welcome. want to go collect the insurance document tommorow.

I wish my other colleagues in the house success.

[quote author=BlessedSamson post=4463622 firstly, when is ur enrollment deadline? if it is still far, then u are on the clear( probably at the goreigners office) but if ur enrollment deadline is past, then expect the worst, wish u luck as u wait. state ur enrollment deadline then the picture will be clear.

I don't know my enrollment deadline. but I gave already done some registration from here and even been given a matriculation number and even a school email.

Good evening house, I have already asked this question but got no response. pls house help me out.
its about 4 weeks since I sent my appeal letter to the embassy.
the info I
gathered from reading through the thread was that it takes about 2 weeks or less for their reply. I wouldn't
like to disturb the embassy by sending more mails.

Am also thinking, is it possible my application has been accepted and has been sent to the foreign
office?.

Reason for rejection was "doubts as regards serious intention to study". I guess I didn't put up a good
interview. although I have appealed and I also attached a letter from the school which they sent to
me when I told them my application was rejected. They also told me to appeal and even sent me a
letter to strengthen the case. But since then, the embassy only told me they have received my appeal
letter and have not heard anything since then.

I sent them another mail, and I think I just got an automated response saying that they will get back to me as soon as they have any update. pls what should I do?. and is it reasonable I think they can still give me my visa.

pls what advice do u give house?..school already resumed April 4.

I never alluded that you are desperate. I just told you how it is. Studying in Germany is way cheaper than most study destinations. The major turn-off for most people that want to study abroad is the language (Deutsch)

Loan? You can always get that for anything...with your collateral of course. However, paying back is the problem. I don't know how you intend to pay up...

You can explore that, and see how it goes. Tchuss!

if one get a loan, can't one be sending the money back from the blocked account on monthly basis back to where the money was borrowed here in Nigeria. is that not possible?
Travel / Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by BlessedSamson: 7:32pm On Mar 25, 2016
UncleJudax:

Brotherly, even studying in Nigeria is not for everybody. Some people can't afford it let alone Germany.
However, if studying in German is for the rich (according to you), doing same in places like Aussie, UK, NZ or US is for who?...

Take it easy sha. I think everybody here knows €8k is no small quid.

Pls don't think am desperate, I just need help and I believe am speaking on behalf of many others like me. is there nothing at all that can be done. With my family support coupled with a little job i can get over there I believe I can cater for myself. But its just that dropping that 2 million is a challenge.

Would you advice a loan?...where can one get a loan of sort in Nigeria and pay back in a year?.

or what advice can the house give to salvage a situation like this. Fingers are not equal.

GOD BLESS

Please House, I will like to ask for counsel on how people (like me) can go about proving their financial prowess. Personally, i can't afford to block 1.8 million and I do not have any family in Germany which I can get a sponsorship letter from yet I will wish to study @ Germany.

Is studying Germany only for the rich?....pls any advice will be highly appreciated.

If you are yet to do ur interview ...u don't have a problem.. Just make sure u have the sponsorship letter on your Interview. Switching is allowed ..I did
. I have done my interview but didn't perform well, so I am to go back for another after my appeal has been accepted. I believe my application has not been forwarded yet. can I still go with it on that day?

Good evening house, I need urgent help. I have applied for my visa and opted to use the blocked account to prove my financial prowess. But now, i will like to switch options to use a sponsorship letter. I have an uncle there, I will like to know more about it and to know if it is possible I switch and how I can go about it.

pls help, this is very urgent.
God bless you all.

@ Royal purple. Thanks so much. I have actually settled the money issue. As regards the appeal, from the post in was told to read, I discovered I would need to forward an appeal letter extensively explaining why the visa should be granted. I also discovered I will be mail backed in 3 to 5 days as regards the outcome of the appeal letter.

but now what I don't understand is. How am I to send the letter, is it by email,by hand or by post?
