So sorry about the refusal. What is the reason for the refusal? The letter should be inside the e colour they used in returning your passport. It’s only when we know their exact reason for refusal then we can know what next to do.

My brother it’s not the same for me.
I use them every time and have never had a problem for once.
Either them or travelstart but travelstart is difficult to reach by any means incase you need to change ticket. But wakanow is easily reachable.

Its from a friend of mine who wants to confirm this employment letter he got from a UK agency . They have also sent him an email after acknowledging receipt of the employment letter to pay for the NHS, I need to confirm if this is real, cos he is really counting on my feedback and advice before he can go ahead.

I guess you have to enter before the start of your program.
Why do you need an agent to book your flight? Go on wakanow or travelstart and search for flights yourself. Or you check the particular airline you want to use and search directly on their website.

From my understanding, it’s not about her financial status. It’s about her having strong ties in Nigeria. That way they are sure she will come back.
Does she have any land in her name or any asset? Is she still with her husband? If yes he can write her a letter saying he approve of her going to UK for sis so period. Does she have other children in Nigeria? Part of a church that can write to say she’s their member and very active etc. These could go as having strong ties.
Also, how long did you write that she will stay?
Like someone said, you can’t just put an account statement and expect them to accept it.
They need clarification. If she has no monthly income, where did the 1.5m come from etc.

I’m sure others will advise you better on what to do.

Exactly. I didn't see any mention of it, that I had to start asking myself if I really did submit that her bank statement.
Even if I didn't submit her account statement they rule on their website said that my mom's financial status can be assessed using mine

The price is high o. Why not try a return ticket even if you won’t use it? Returns are valid for a year and way cheaper.
It may be too late for you to get a transit visa now. The date is close and embassies are busy so to even get a close appointment date may be impossible.

If you did the application or visa payment yourself then you obviously received a confirmation email. In that mail, there’s a link to sign into your application. Click on it then follow the instructions to tls contact website.

You guys will come here and ask for advice and when someone gives you their genuine opinion, because it’s not what you wish to hear then you resort to insult and name calling.
His response to you was right. None of us knows it all about foreign visas but we know enough to know that there is nothing like applying for tourist visa to look for “self employment” job.
You could have just taken the advice then do more research or contact immigration lawyers for professional advice on what to do.

This is summer season so a lot of applications ongoing that’s why it’s delaying. Just be patient. I am sure you will get an email for pick up soon. What date do you intend to travel?

Is it too late to cancel and start a new application? It’s always best to stick to one country (you can go to more once you get your visa).
I have heard of more refusals based on multi countries.
But if you chose to go ahead, fingers crossed for you. All the best.
Meanwhile did you try travelstart multicity booking? Never seen a cheaper fare anywhere. Multicity is cheaper than even a return ticket.

How do I handle the Spain and Rome routes if I want to go my train . Can I also do book on hold or the ticket to France is enough .

Just keep your phone close to you always, they will call you and request for it once they get to the application processing.
Maybe scan the birth cert and save in your phone so even if you’re not home, you’d easily send it right away.
My cousin forgot consent letter for her child and they called her and requested for it 4 days after submission.

Credit of over 4million Naira over the period of 2 months is where I see the problem. You padded her account for visa purposes. Unexplained credits into her account.
Also Since your husband is the sponsor, you could have just said she’s spending £1 towards the trip rather than £60. I also think it’s not wise saying your husband will sponsor her with £2500 out of his £4000 Sounds questionable honestly.
My advice is that you wait another 6months and reapply. Within that period, ensure that no huge money goes into her salary account. Also try to withdraw a certain amount monthly as upkeep.
You can say your husband is sponsoring with £1500 (I assume she will stay with you so accommodation is out of it).
Others will advise better. This na my 1cent. All the best and don’t cry again dear

This isn’t a good time for anyone to apply for visit visas due to the number of student visas ukvi is processing for September start date.
Heard the delays are crazy.
Even priority visas are affected.

The second child got issued a 6months visa.
I am so happy! She’s the closest friend to my daughter so this means a lot to us.

Received a rejection email for one of the kids. Apparently she was banned few years ago so automatic denial for her. Her mother said she was unaware of the ban as they used an agent then and he only told them the visa was denied but she can’t remember seeing the denial letter.
No update on the 2nd child yet. Tracking shows received by DMC.

She has done her biometrics so it’s not possible to get a refund. All you can do is wait.

My wife did biometrics a week ago for dependent visa, I'm on work visa in UK.
We used priority services in TLS Ikeja but we're yet to see any email for passport pickup or BRP
We expected priority to be fast within some days but I'm getting frustrated.
I've called ukvi they said a decision has been made but can't say why we've not gotten pickup Mail.
Can we get a refund for our priority and what else can we do.
She's frustrated.

And was it standard or priority?
Also, she can decide to spend any number of days or months she likes but must not be more than 6 months to avoid overstaying.

It took me 5 working days to receive pick up mail for my schenghen visa. But if you add weekend then it’s 7 days total.
Yes I believe the agent must have falsified documents or so. I sha hope the documents they gave me for this particular visa wasn’t falsified because I have been asking myself many questions.

Hi all…just to share something. My daughter’s birthday is in a month time and we already got visa to spend the entire period in Uk but now we decided to take 2 of her best friends on the trip. I applied for Uk visas for the 2 kids (both 8yrs old).
I am the sponsor so submitted:
my employment letter
payslip
account statement
Booked flights and hotels for the trip.
Visa data page (I and my kids all have 10yrs Uk visa)
Pictures of my daughter with her best friends from when they were 3yrs old till now they’re 8 (sleepovers, Christmas family group pictures)

From their parents:
authorization letter
copies of parents passports
kids birth certificates

Only mistake i made was not submitting the school documents of the girls (like fees payment or report sheet) as I always do for my own kids.
I also realized we should have submitted their parents bank statements showing they’re also capable of funding the trip. I really hope this won’t affect their chances of getting visas.
One of the kids had been denied Uk visa before but while filling the application, I surprisingly didn’t see the space where they ask if you have ever been denied visa before? (Has anyone noticed this?)

They both did biometrics on friday 7th July and e-mail came today that it’s has been received at the decision making office.
We are all so anxious 😬

You obviously misunderstood them. I used vfs for Schengen visa just last month and picked up myself. Courier delivery is optional.
I can snap my collection printout and show you if you are still doubting.
I used vfs Abuja.

They were accepting pick up before but changed it after covid. If is still on their website they are yet to update it. It might be possible for VIP applicants

This is not true please. You have the option of going there to pick up your passport yourself or having courier deliver it to you.
I used vfs just last month and was able to collect our passports ourselves. And yes it’s France I applied through.

All passport are delivered by courier service if you apply for French visa nothing like to dash to VFS to pick your passport. They told me categorically at vfs

Yes, We attached a parental consent notarized by court.

And yeah, thank goodness you’re not caseworker.
Even if the visa gets denied, I’d still be happy knowing I tried to fulfill my child’s wish.

The fathers are not being compelled to sign away their parental rights,they are taking a risking allowing their very young children visit another country without them .The office is only interested in the legalities not whether he is dead beat or not.It is a safeguarding and child protection issue not a personal attack on you.

There is a big difference between parental responsibility and legal guardianship so he can do you a letter making you legal guardian while the child is within the Uk it has to be duly notarised and attached with court affidavit.

Might have been easier to use a travel agency and all go as a group.

This is quite some stress for a 9 days holiday but application can still be be approved as you have covered the basis but,if i was your caseworker i would be denying but am not so best of luck.

Please stay awake and try to search for dates between 12 midnight and 2am. I understand that is when they open up available dates that people dropped. All the best.

My employer can email the Consul General, because they recently told me they're doing their best on their end. I'm applying via the Abuja vfs center though.

Can you confirm if this email: visas.abuja-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr is that of the Abuja Consul General?

Regarding travel health insurance, vfs told me it isn't necessary and only requirements that were mentioned on the French visa application site are mandatory.

An ID photograph is required for the talent visa. Can one use the national ID card for this requirement?

And lastly, can one book for appointment and lounge separately?
