CareerRe: How Does one Handle Evil And Diabolism In Work Environments? by blessedvisky(m): 6:35pm On Jan 28, 2020
Akalia:
@ OP if you are truly a Christian then you should understand that the kingdom of GOD is not a matter of talk but of power (1 corinthians 4:20).

So you need power to rule in the midst and be above all your enemies. Leading a holy life (1 Peter 1:16)and commitment to a life of prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17) is sure way to have such power that surpasses diabolism at work place.
This blessed me

Not good advice bro!

All power belongs to God. "You shall step upon snakes and scorpions and they shall not harm you"

Just know who you are in Christ Jesus and nothing will happen to you.

Baby snakes never leaves their place of birth until their fangs are developed. Be as wise and serpents BUT gentle as dove.

Keep your hand clean but hold on to God as you MUST pray in the morning and commit all your ways with blood of Jesus.

I can't run away or avoid my village because of so called evil men!!!
Ok. You do what works for you then

if other people arer like you do you think dat they wld be development in the rural areas,
You'll be alright. When your hustle starts paying big, you can also build in your place and develop it. No need to fight

If not for your last paragraph, I could have concluded you are wrong.

There is nothing wrong in building a house in your village but show off is what I have a concern of.

Why won't I do what I want because of people.

Dem never born the Fool.
Boss people dey o. There was a thread that hit front page about 2 weeks ago about one Igbo business man who wanted to sell his house for 90M or 900M I'm not sure which. Some people posed as prospective buyers, met up with him somewhere and killed him. Can you imagine such wickedness. Do you think he would have ever imagined in his life that in the process of selling a prized possession, he'll lose his life? No.

The only person you can vouch for is you. You can't fully know the thoughts another person is thinking or the extent they're Willing to go to fulfill what ever they have made up their minds to do

You are on point brother,

I have been opptuned to travel outside the shore of Africa bro I will be frank with everyone here I attend several gathering and you hardly hear them preach about praying for people to die ooooo

I don't know who gave nigeria such a mind set ,

Now back to the witches issue ,I tell people hide your self oooo, you are succeeding stay on a low key it's very important very very important ,,the world envy started in Africa
Even if it were the kind of envy that'll spur positive change, that'll make others aspire to be great and replicate what they're seeing, it'll be better. But it's the destructive kind that is predominant here

FamilyRe: Why Are Village People So Wicked? by blessedvisky(m): 6:01pm On Jan 28, 2020
churchee:
It's either you don't understand the concept of having a house in your village or you know it and refuse to mention it in your long overdue comment. For the benefit of those who want to learn, let me correct you. Firstly, ndi Igbo for instance have what they call "aku ruo uno" your wealth should get home, let your village home feel the benefit of your accumulations. This accumulated wealth can come from things as low as ordinary house to your name, scholarships to your kinsmen, renovation of dilapidated community buildings to things as obvious as industries (jobs). Also, you are supposed to have a house to your name because you are either a family man or an aspiring family man, if you don't go home alive, you will go in death; whose house will you be kept to be washed and embalmed if everyone refuses to build house for fear of the "village people"? On whose land will you be buried provided that carcass are not buried on open spaces (except in towns with cemetery)?

Take a cue from the life of an Igbo man in Lagos for instance, little misunderstanding the Yorubas will remind them that Lagos is not a no-man's-land, don't you think that a typical human should imagine that one day these talks will grow to physical attack, like it happens in places like Kano, Kaduna, Maiduguri (insecurity) etc. If similar thing happens in Lagos and they run back home, whose home will they live in? Why do you think many Nigerians in South Africa refused to come back after the free ride by Air Peace? Because they have nothing to show yet (house) and it's a shame to a typical onye Igbo.

Now, back to the topic. The said man was wrong with his approach; he has been away for 11 good years, only to come back and begin to erect a building? Who does that! Firstly, he was supposed to enter quietly if he wants to monitor his building personally, stay low for a while, travel and return frequently then start your building (of course, while you are doing this, you are relating with people; the young, old and teenagers, they know who is who). Or, he can liaise with a trusted kinsman who is based at home to do the monitoring and spending. Two years ago, my cousin based in Johannesburg inaugurated his five bedroom flat in the village, funny he didn't see the building process, he didn't even attend his own house opening but we all danced and ate and drank, he doesn't want to have anything to do with Nigeria but for his parents and siblings based here.

There are processes things are done, you just have to obey those unwritten processes. As for me, I won't lay a foundation in Lagos if I haven't had a building at least window level in Enugu, call it anything you want to, it is my decision.
I can't believe I just read all that cheesy. Well written, practical and a very valid approach to doing things is shown. Thanks

as I read your post now tears just filled my eyes because that's what exactly happened to me. But bro, are we not going to develop where we came from? Are we not going to bring the face of our town out? It really leaves so much to imagine
I'm sorry that your good intentions were used to hurt you. I believe self-love and self-preservation are greater desires than any urge to make a place better. If you still have the means and desires to improve your place, do it through a trusted proxy or do it as anonymously as you can

FamilyRe: Why Are Village People So Wicked? by blessedvisky(m):
What exactly did he hope to achieve by going to the village?? To prove that he was a son of the soil?? Or to 'give back' to his roots??
Op there is a reason why cases of spiritual attacks and paranormal activities are more prevalent in rural areas than urban ones.

Why didn't he build in a city 'jejely' and enjoy his money and health?
Many Nigerians need to remove this idea of 'going to settle home' from their minds.
Some do this because that's supposed to be the norm (whoever created such norms and why, I don't know)

Some do it because they actually want to live larger than life, show off and be treated like royalty by commoners. Where better to get such a treatment than a rural place filled with poverty

Some do it because they think these rural areas would one day be developed enough and their investments in lands and properties there would yield massive returns for them and/or their children

Whatever the case maybe, please note somethings
Envy & Jealousy know no bounds. Many people have poor mindsets and they're extremely common in these areas where life is relatively simple. Instead of trying to emulate the rich person, they'll start wishing what is his was theirs instead. Some will graduate to the level of trying to scam the man. Some will try to bed him. Some will try to make friends with him by all means. Some will outrightly hate him and all these ones don't mind going spiritual against him to either have access to his money or ruin him completely so that they can all be struggling together

Stay woke people. Even if you must do things back home, do it as discreetly & quietly as you can. Nobody really loves a showoff (whether accidental or intentional) . Not everyone will be happy for your success

explaining what could have transpired.
Now we have it from DSS.

But you see fraudsters, criminals, thieves, that their lives have been turned upside down by the looters they supported supporting this impostor!
They are never ready to do any legitimate job,
They are only out to scam other people trying to make 2 ends meet.
You will all rot in prison.

Quote us or cancel our post if you are affected by this post as usual, criminals.

Scammers everywhere![/quote]You know I've always wondered why so many people bash you and call you names on this forum but alas, here lies the answer

1) You really believe that the DSS would have released him if he attempted to impersonate the president's daughter??

2) Why was he released if he was an imposter?? I'm pretty sure securing a conviction when the president's daughter name is at stake would be faster, if not easier sef. So why release him?

3) The SIM card is still in his possession. Why do you think it's so?

4) Why didn't the DSS publicise the story and warn the general public if they realised someone out there was really impersonating her?
