Back to the issue, if it were to be someone TRULY seeking understanding about the scriptures or a new convert, then I would have carefully explained, but if it is someone who is asking such questions in order to cause confusion or who has other aims apart from understanding, then there is no need for me to waste my time with such individuals. Maybe you should read 2 Timothy 2:23

^^On your second point, of course we know God created them..however, Inappropriate use of these things is a sin, the same can be said of things like psyco-active drugs.. To your question: I am self-employed and run my own business. I have had severe business setbacks which I have shared with her. These setbacks obviously make me sad and unhappy,but I keep praying and working as hard as I can to stabilize and grow my business.

OP, maybe the wife has a kind of evil spirit for her to be saying that kind of thing.. Try not to talk to her about your business at all for a few weeks and find a real prayerful prayer patner in your church and see if there wont be improvements.
