According to the New testament, the Rapture will take place, then the Anti-Christ will take over, then Christ will return again with the raptured saints and fight the Beast, the devil and false prophet and triumph. the devil will be locked up in the bottomless pit for 1000years, during which time Christ will rule and reign over the Earth. MY question now is WHY IN HEAVEN OR ON EARTH WILL CHRIST WANT TO RULE EARTH(which is filled with corruption). lol. This one is a hard question. What i will say is science is being updated regularly as more and more knowledge is being discovered by the scientists. Currently, certain scientific books DO NOT edify christianity and may seriously shake a young christian's faith. If the science book isnt damaging to christianity in anyway and its not encouraging sin, then no problem in buying and reading such. I say this because there are various scientific books out there.

God is not the author of confusion but it seems that there is confusion in Christendom today. it seems that Christians are longer united. different churches has their own doctrines and belief. Christians no longer speak the same thing. they no longer have one mind and are no longer ready to embrace one another.

Op, I have once wondered about this and after much thinking, I was able to come up wit some primary reasons.... 1) PRIDE/ARROGANCE/STUBBORNNESS/INTOLERANCE: If you study Church history, you will see that this is one of the main reasons of splitting among churches.. For example, a church has a certain doctrine, some members discover it isn't according to the scriptures, but the church declares it is 'right' and labels the truth-tellers as liars, heretics, etc. The church kicks them out and they start theirs.. Countless examples abound in history. PLS note that the reverse is also very applicable; a church has certain correct principles or teachings however some dissents hold contrary and unscriptural/modern-day views. such eventually leave the main church and start theirs..... There are also examples here in Nigeria and worldwide.
2)FOLLOWING PEOPLE: some individuals gain a lot of popularity in churches due to their positions or services rendered.. it gets into their heads, hence they soon seek ways to establish their own churches.. Some even claim that God has called them into ministry ( PLS AM NOT SAYING ALL WHO CLAIM TO HAVE BEEN CALLED BY GOD ARE FAKES). Another point of view is when there is a leadership crises where by the main pastor dies, the assisting pastors try to takeover, one succeeds, the other(s) fails and leaves to start another one with as many as are willing to follow them
3)Hunger: some people go into ministry to make money. such people generally do not preach sound doctrine.
4) Conformity/Worldliness: some people realise that the teachings of Jesus and the apostles are not easy to abide by, hence they twist scriptures and preach watered-down doctrines to suit themselves.

4.If God didn’t create the Earth, why does everything work so well?
It can’t be coincidence that we have air to breath, water to drink, and churches to pray in. God intended it that way. If he didn’t, then why is Christianity the most popular religion in the world? Why is America, a Christian nation, the most powerful in the world? This can’t be something that just happened to occur.
The fact that every ecosystem in the world acts in accordance with itself and survives is proof of intelligent design. If it all just happened, as evolution and the big bang seem to suggest, there would be chaos everywhere. Instead, the more we delve into scientific fields, we find order. Order that can only be provided by a benevolent creator.
5.Miracles happen everyday
Documented cases of sick people being healed through prayer happen everyday, but go unreported by the liberal atheist media. Either that, or they get mocked by hordes of Godless Internet users on sites such as YouTube or Yahoo Answers. It is sad to see such free media with such a great potential to spread the word of Jesus get used for such travesties. Covering up the truth is often what Satan’s minions do.
Even scientific studies have confirmed the power of praying to God and Jesus for help. Atheists always cite studies, but strangely they never cite these studies. Because they only use science when it falls in their favor. To them, anything that isn’t liberal or Godless simply must not be heard. When one of their ‘theories’ is supposedly proven, they are all over it. When God’s existence is proven, they are quiet as a tick.

The important thing here is that Paul believed in Apollo, in the same way that he believed that he saw Jesus.
So, its either of two things: 1. Either Paul was truly divinely inspired, in which case the god Apollo is also real and should be worshipped by the followers of Pauline doctrine. Or, 2. Paul was a delusional character and conman who also believed in the mythologies and superstitions of his era, including the superstitions of Apollo and it's striking similarities with the myths of Jesus.
