Please House, where can one get this type of nipple drinker? It is horizontal nipple drinker.

Best solution is administer admacine or gumbocine or viralmix, etc. Stop all drugs for now. Make sure you follow the right dosage.

Hope you are not interchanging the feeds ie give starter, then finisher, then starter, you understand?

No Sir, am not interchanging the feed. I started finisher when they were 3 weeks and 3 days and I have been on it. Animal care. Thank you for your advice, I have started admacine this morning. God bless you Sir.

These underlying causes must be known to look for how to control the condition. There is no known cure for it.

1. What are the treatments administered from day old?

2. Do you have temperature extremes in the coop?

3. How is your water consumption? Do you change the pattern of recent?

4. Do you formulate your feed or use different feed types or change ration type arbitrary?

5. How are the birds growing (fast, slow, normal) Etc.

1. I used EST for brooding.
2. On the 13th Day when I notice cough, I gave Tylodox for the cough and gave kepcox for coccidiosis. Then I gave sulpmix at 28days after I noticed the green patches on their liver and enlarged liver and spleen and greenish stooling. But the keep on dying in two and one every other day even after the sulphmix. I give multivitamin weekly.
3. Temperature is somehow ok expect some few days when the heat is extreme. Their water intake is between 210 - 250 litres daily.
4. No I don't formulate my feed, I used Chikun Super Starter and Animal Care Finisher.
5. The birds will be six weeks tomorrow, I can't say how their growth rate is but it they are between 2.4kg to 1.9kg.
From the 28 days to now I have lost about 14 of them. Some of them have water in their belly and most have enlarged liver. I intend giving them admacine today. Thank you again.

Am seriously in the middle of changing from CHI birds to anoda good hatchery.

I don't know whether to call it tangible differences, but I wasn't comfortable with CHI recently and someone recomended Vertex to me so I decided to give it a try.

Sir Turks, is their any bad effect of excessive water consumption in broiler? My last badge of 420 birds were consuming 300litres of water, unlike their counterpart which were 640 and were consuming the same 300litres.

They’re at their peak and this is every farmer’s dream. Their uniformity is almost 100%. Your birds are doing great and for this, you ought to be glad. There’s nothing to worry about other than keeping up whatever management practice yours is. All the best!

When layers are at their peak when laying, how long does it last before the laying drops again?

Once a week ok.like medium size of 200naira ball ok on their water .I blend with commercial pepper blenders and serve in water.
That way I use lesser.i use 7tablespoons in 20litres.
Just my own way o.i start from week 2

Resistance will set in if you keep abusing antibiotics. God to the basics. Work on your ventilation and litter management. Give freshly crushed Ginger+Garlic with honey. It’ll clear within days.

Thanks Sir. Am really afraid of this resistance of a thing. There is ventilation and dry litter. Watching cough is another concern. I will do as you said after completion of the ETS. Pls what quantity should I use?

Wheather here is hot. No I havent given 2nd dosage of lasota because of this cough. Should I complete this dosage or switch to Bio-CRD tomorrow. Thanks.

Pls my good people, what drug can I use to cure this stuborn cough that is disturbing my broilers. I have given Kenflox, admacine, no improvement. They are 4weeks and presently on E.T.S by Bio for two days now, yet they are still coughing.

Gumboro attacked my broilers at 5weeks of age.
Though I have sold that batch about two weeks
ago. I treated my farm with formalin and amonia
mix together on wednesday last week and I just
stock birds on friday. Pls is there any preventive measures I can use together with the routine
vaccine to avoid having such experience again. I
learnt once gumboro attack a farm it takes time
before one can eradicate it in the farm.
Pls help me, am worried.
