Honestly Blessingflow I just hope and pray that things works out well for you. This is because you have been expecting a decision on your application for study permit for a long time now and then all this issue is coming up. Withholding information when filling the application for Canada study permit either knowingly or unknowingly might end up being termed as misrepresentation and in such a case you might be tagged as inadmissible into Canada .
Just as some ppl suggested here on this platform you can decided to send a letter of explanation through webform to see if it might help or not.

Wetin do the hand wey God give you? Don't chop your seeds begin dey complain of no harvest. They have advise you to send LOE, and possibly an updated form. Clarify you miss that question or submitted the wrong form with your application. Do it quickly before they send letter of misrepresentation to you. After then, just forget about it. I wonder how you will explain to others that you got two bans from different countries due to misrepresentation. Don't ruin your current and future chances. Take charge of your life and do the neccessary quickly.

You better take matters into your own hands to avoid another 5year BAN from Canada. Someone mentioned you raising an LOE and explain the circumstances surrounding the UK BAN, I think that's the best line of action for you to take at this point.
Contact @makano @justmellow to craft a good LOE explaining what happened.
If you do NOTHING, I can almost guarantee you another 5yr BAN.

Even though the message isn't related to any UK BAN, be rest assured Canada will know.. You see that part in the GCMS notes called "Info sharing", yes that part, its all about these.. As part of the background check, Canada shares information with other top countries(UK inclusive) as regards the immigration status of each applicant, which I am sure they will also do in your case...

It will take a Miracle if you don't also get a Ban from Canada, I just hope you declared this UK ban to Canada when filling your form and you also stated it in your LOE that you have previously gotten a 10 year BAN from the UK..

I just hope you did that, cos if you think you will hide that from Canada by denying it, be rest assured Canada will know, these are developed and advanced countries and not Nigeria that anything goes..

Agents are from the pit of hell, they will put an applicant in trouble and go on the run.. Probably he will go somewhere else and continue his business, at the end of the day , its the applicant that looses and suffers for it..

Sorry the the mess the agent put your through. In info sharing, ofcourse the will find out about the ban because they will inquire. But they won't because of the UK ban and ban you.No. instead since the ban was as a result of misrepresentation, it will only impact your application through a painstaking screening of all your documents submitted.

But you could have made it easier for them had it been during your application, you explained it well in your SOP (dedicate a paragraph to explain the reason for the ban. Yes all we all knows that even if one uses an agent. Any documentation submitted by an agent is by us and us alone will be held accountable). Just hope you did so?

So just relax and hope for the best. In God, all things are possible.

Pls I want to ask, is this the reply they send to every body or it's just specifically for me alone. Pls your advise is needed especially as regards the criminality...a certain agent messed me up 9yrs ago and sent fake doc. For my UK visa application, even after paying him 200k and given him my original docs. I didn't get to know until I received a 10yr ban from the UK embassy, i tried arresting the agent, but he has been on the run. You can apply with your WAEC result. I used my B.Sc. transcript because I am going for my masters degree.

Yes it is clear and all three schools have my intended course of study which is Marine Biology/Sciences....but did you submit a transcript....I don't have a transcript because I write WAEC in 2017 from SS2 as opposed to SS3....is this going to be an issue

You already have these three schools on your list, check the courses they offer to know if they have your intended course or any related one. If they do, copy their email from their website and send a mail to them, attaching your result/credentials and asked them if you would be eligible to study that very course with your result in their school. They will reply you, whether you fit in or not.

Google more schools also that have that same course and send them mails using thesame pattern of communication as you did with the above schools. I hope is clear to you?

Good Morning everyone, I just applied for study visa now and I just want to know what next in terms of biometrics...

What i did...
I selected some schools of my interest, I mailed my credentials to them requesting if I'm eligible to study ... course in their school. Some replied and said no, while some replied and said yes.

I then went ahead with full application to the ones that said yes, stating that I had earlier made an enquiry and was asked to go ahead with my application.

With this method, I didn't have to go through any admission decline from any school.

Then PPR...February 10th

You have to study at least a semester in the school before changing to another school.

Can a student switch schools without attending the one that gave you visa ??
For instance school A gave visa and I travel to Canada, immediate I change my school to school B and tell ircc without attending school A at all
Or I have to actively attend school A for a semester before changing to school B ??

Visitors visa were not prioritized because of Covid19.

I applied for visting Visa sine April 2020. Myself and my mom tried to renew our visiting visa, it is still pending. They wont prioritize you if you apply for a vsting visa but will prioritize you if you apply for a spousal permit.
Its Feb 2022 and still no word. Applied for my study permit April 2021 and it was approved. Yet my visting is still pending nearly 2 years later.

It's PPR for me and my 3kids. It has been 9months of waiting but at God's time he made it beautiful. My story is loading starting from getting ITA with SINP and a small error nullified my application. I had to withdraw a bit from the group because if work and mental health. But I cannot but come back to say thanks to everyone. I learnt so much here. Will drop timeline soon. Still crafting it.

Well, I think applying for both visas at entirely different times would have been better. Applying for Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP) and visitors visa within thesame period of time may give the VO an impression that you wouldn't come back again. It shows some elements of desperation.

But however, I so much believe in the grace of God. Wait for a decision to be taken as regards your SOWP application, then and then you would know the further steps to take.

Kindly keep us informed on the outcome...it will end in your favor.

i applied for SOWP and also the new visitors visa later on. the visitors visa was rejected saying they are not satisfied that i will leave canada at the end of my visit. the SOWP is still pending. please what do you advise.

Pls be strong and hopeful, this is delay and not denial. Ensure you raise your GCM note today, it takes 30days to get it. The earlier you raise it, the faster.

Pls kindly clarify... when did you submit your application? And how long it took them to give this feedback?

I have already deferred my start date from 10th January to 6th March
I already applied for GCMS notes on the 4th of January but on the 5th of February, I got a mail saying they need an extension of 30days.

Hello blessing

You have every right to disturb them with mails informing them that your application is passed the processing time and your resumption date is getting close..

Send at least 5 mails day and night, everyday until you get a response. You can also order for your gcms notes while you are still waiting , that will also let you know what actually is causing the delay..

It may be that they are in need of an information or a document from you, and they haven't sent you the request yet.. So your Gcms notes will come in handy here..


So do as advised without relenting until you get a response from them.. Be consistent with the mails..

Repeating what I wrote earlier.
All PGWP eligible colleges or universities are designated learning institutions but not all designated learning institutions are eligible for PGWP. Read that again and understand properly.
Western community college is a designated learning institution but graduates from that college are not eligible for PGWP after studies. Now go back to that page you uploaded and look to the far right on the same line the school is listed to check if you find a YES or NO. If yes then you can apply for PGWP if you graduate from that college if No then you can't. So go back to that link and check again.
