Good morning all I trust we are doing fine? I applied in July last year and received a PFL in May this year as a result of the application charge-back. I sorted it out by getting an investigative report from the special fraud unit of the Nigerian police force.
This morning, I received another PFL stating that I didn't informed them of y previous visa application to the USA.
Pls, what is the best way to go about this? I need help |

You mean I can pay with with my naira master card? efeturi3: why would you be using someone card this time around again? Fund a prepaid dollar card and Pay with it if you don't have a Dom account. Or pay with your naira debit card since naira equivalent is accepted now.

It's 150 USD. I want to use my sisters card this time around. I have reported the agent to the police special fraud unit. He was arrested yesterday and investigation is still ongoing. Meanwhile, I want to submit the investigation report and petition to IRCc and make the payment. Please sir, how do I access the link for making the payment? Anon123:
How much is it that they say you are owing?
Do not use the same person you used in paying. |

Thank you sir. I received a procedural fairness on charge back on my visa application. Please sir, I want to make the payment, how do I go about the payment. Anon123:
Please pay through a genuine source that you trust or by yourself. Ensure either ways, you have the evidence of payment sent to Ircc with an explanation as to why the charge back happened and what you have done to rectify the issue.

You really need to calm down, you wouldn't want to go into stage 5 depression and then boooommm...your PPR is out. Who will travel to Canada should that happen? Try and get busy with other things and be hopeful. Some people submitted since 2021 and nothing yet. They can't kill themselves naaa. You have done your best, allow God to do his best. Joanosas2950: Please Gurus in the house, how long does it take to get ppr after eligibility review starts. Mine started on April 29. I applied on 16th of March, through gcmsbuddy. It takes exactly 35 days for feedback. Akexstinger:
Hi ! Please when did you apply for your GMCS note and when did it arrive? And which third party agency did you use? |

I have done my Biometrics Teemenzo:
I don understand your a0plication ooo.
Questions:
Haven't you received any Biometrics Instruction Letter?
Haven't you done anything about Biometrics?
Your GCMS notes reads that they have sent BIL to you but the VO's comments is saying you haven’t done biometrics.
Can you explain your situation better. |

This is true. I did answer Yes to the question. mrprolifik:
Look at the date the correspondence was made it shows 2021. And another explanation might be that maybe when the applicant submitted his application he answered yes to the question " have you given your biometrics in the last 10 yrs before this application ". |

Thank you so much. Kindly see outgoing correspondence attached. Teemenzo:
Check from page 9 to 12, see if you will find anything under outgoing correspondence. Its not about the number of pages. The reason why you have fewer pages ks because you don't send much mails and webform. Some have 60 to 80 pages. Won ti fi mail pa IRCC.

It's not a problem at all. Table of content is to enable the visa officer have an easy clarity of the documents you're submitting. MightyRance: Hello guys. I got to know about this forum today.

Congratulations to you! I share in your overwhelming joy for my PPR. I applied July 2021. Scott99tish: Kindly ignore any grammatical error as I cannot proofread anything with this joy in me… Lol
See below timeline of my application: First Application Submitted April 30th, 2021 I found Nairaland first week of August then I got to know about Upfront medical
Upfront medical August 4th, 2021 Delay came on August 16, 2021 Reason: Personal Assets and Financial Status.
I paid Half tuition fee with 10million in my account as Self-Sponsored. I was wondering HOW and WHY refusal again… But after dropping my delay on nairaland, I got some responses then I knew where my problem was even before I got GCMS note. So I started tackling and typing… Lump sum. I never stated anything finance in my SOP, talk-less of mentioning the lump sum I had 4 days before submission. Well, a lesson.
I ordered GCMS note and the result was actually correct. Lump sum. What I did different; 1. I paid Full tuition fee 2. I explained all the lump sum I had in my LOE, even when they won’t be in my new statement of account because I had to wait till December for submission to avoid stories again. 3. I gave sources of all lump sum I had then with documents to back them up. Some equipment I owned, I brought up their receipts and their rental agreement which gave me lump sums.
Secret: Don’t rush any submission. Try to get it right.
I ensured I don’t have ANY new lump at allll. I wrote my beautiful LOE and SOP, to me beautiful, lol.
Thank God I asked Makano to review for me. Then He blasted me ehn. I was like, It took me 14days to come up with all this and this guy was just putting lines lines lines. Well, I relaxed because He knows better. We kept going back and forth but He para that I don’t want to learn that He charge for what he’s doing for me free, Sorry I had to say all this Makano, it’s just funny to talk about them now.
I pleaded with him that I will pay what ever fee, because I like how he’s getting angry at me because I needed to get it right. I sha paid the discount He gave me because He saw how dedicated I was.
Finally We got something meaningful that I confirmed my initial beautiful LOE/SOP was rubbish.
He’s good… He like a brother, always checking Up on me via mail… General Makano
Re-applied 7th of December, 2021… Action movie started. 7th of Feb, 2022 being my birthday, Eligibility started. 29th of March, 2022 Original Passport Request.
Thank you guys for all and I will remain here to pass more knowledge acquired here. @Makano, Teemenzo, KellyKk, Osemigho, Technix, Buchito1, Ketima, Jollytravels that will and must travel… Many more that I cannot remember for now… You guys have been awesome…

I just received my PPR. I feel like crying, I feel like jumping, I feel like screamingggggggg.
First my timeline so the family will not roast me alive.
Portal type: Old portal Application series: S30465#### Upfront medical - 9 November, 2021 Application submitted - Thursday, 18 November 2021 Biometric request - Friday, 19 November 2021 Biometric done and updated - Monday, 22 November 2021 Medical Passed - Thursday, 23 December 2021 Eligibility started - Thursday, 10 February 2022 First and only ghost update - Wednesday, 16 March 2022 PPR - Thursday, 17 March 2022
17 weeks on the dot.
In January I sent a lot of emails and like three webforms. All I got was generic responses. I needed a decision because the last day to pay my 1st term fees or withdraw and be eligible for full refund (excluding deposit of $1000) was on the 28th. My program doesn't do deferral but they said they could assure us of a readmission for fall term, we would only have to pay the application fee of $100 but we won't have to pay a deposit of $1000 again because it would be moved to fall. Like 4 of my course mates (1 Nigerian and 3 Indians) too this offer and withdraw and I was tempted to take this offer too; but my sister (my sponsor) said no, I should have faith (funny thing she is not a believer of faith, and she is very logical and basis her decisions on concrete facts and not hope). I paid my fees on the last day (I sent the fee receipt payment through a webform) and continued with the program online. Everyone was online including domestic students because of the Omicron variant. But they resumed in-person/hybrid 2 weeks ago. And believe me, I thought online classes was bad, but hybrid is way worse. I didn't send any emails or webforms after January and I even applied for a remote job for a US company to keep me distracted (I got the job too, and resumed this week). I later decided to order for my gcms notes on the 4th of March, though I don't think it caused my decision to arrive 2 weeks after. I got my PPR without them even asking me for an updated LOA to ensure I was still enrolled.
My background Bsc in Architecture from University of Nigeria (UNN) Program in Canada: Masters in Digital Media from Ryerson University (I explained I was focusing on Virtual and Augmented Reality in my sop, I will post my sop draft here for anyone who needs inspiration. Please inspiration, do not copy exactly) 3+ year work experience in architecture and construction (was never a full time worker, only during nysc, was always an independent contracted designer, submitted my last contract).
I will post my documents shortly, my new boss keeps sending tasks to do.

It's a simple issue. Send a mail to your to asking if you can still resume with January session. If not, defer to the next available session, its better than applying to a new school. gaeul: My school don't have any online option for their MBA program. As for the January LOA being valid, How sures please? Thanks for your response..... 1 Like |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by blessingflow: 9:26am On Mar 07, 2022 |
If you apply for another admission in another school, you will need to also apply for a new study permit again because you are changing your school, I guess you wouldn't want to go through that route again. The LOA issued to you in the month of January is still valid, and I believe you can travel with it. Have you been taking your online classes? If yes, good for you. But however, you can also confirm from your school if you can still resume for January session. gaeul: Good morning house, please am in a fix, my school (University of New Brunswick) refused me a deferral to May. I have appealed and appealed yet no positive response. Sadly, passport stamped but no updated Letter of Acceptance.
The question now is; Is it possible to get admission for another school to resume May or are all deadlines close?
Can I travel with my January Letter of acceptance?
Please, I need all the help I can get. |

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee. |

Thanks for your concern. I applied July 2021, that's 7months now. I will do as advised. God bless you Scott99tish: Hi Blessing,
Sorry about all this. This is quite huge and you need to act fast. Firstly, When did you apply? If it’s recently, you should withdraw your application and start afresh.
If it’s over 2-3months, then you need to submit LOE explaining what was missed out with all sincerity. Possibly explain it’s been a while since you’re on 9th years and it’s a complete oversight. Also you can refill that form and fill it correctly to upload with the LOE also.
Regards. |
