by honest, you mean I should state in my SOP that I am going to study, after which I intend to get a job and work permit?

Pursuing Canadian visa has made me know what real heartbreak is. I earlier applied June last year, for study visa, My mistake was I applied with my wife ( we saw an advert somewhere online saying we could apply together), well, we were rejected visa. i applied alone on nov 3rd 2018 they didnt even waste time, by 22nd November they informed me my visa was rejected. Now its on their record I applied twice and was rejected twice: travel aplication history is affected. I have not given up sha, but have I completely ruined my chances to get visa to Canada? Does anyone think I could apply to Canada in the future? Or should I just focus on other countries? What if I try through PR would my record affect my application? God bless the African VOs and VOs worldwide who say we wont come back.

A bank statement is valid for a month. If it exceeds one month it's rendered invalid and I would suggest you get an updated one.

hello guys, please i applied for my statement of account 4th of october, i plan to apply for visa this week, should i apply for another statement of account or can i use the one of october 4th?

That was middle of July this year. Although I had challenge of taking excuse over and over from work, so thats why I went about it that way. You could wait till you are asked to do medicals.

I did my medicals few days before submission of my application. It makes the process faster

Bro have you found a way to tackle the sponsorship issue that was pointed out by the VO? You can prove he is your uncle by showing birth certificate (yours and his) and he can also show commitment by making a payment towards your fees or transferring the amount to your account and then write a very good and convincing SOP. In your SOP, make sure you emphasise on returning to naija cos of your family (this is very important, stress it). Make sure you sell your string points convincingly.

Your SOP should not be too long, make it brief and straight to the point. Focus on addressing issues raised and then sell your string points.

Let your sponsor also write a good, touching and emotional SOP. Why is he sponsoring you? He could say it was a promise he made to your late parents (this is just an example). For emphasis, It should be something very touching and emotional. His SOP should also not be too much. I suggest maximum of 500 words. He should also state clearly how this will not be a burden to him and how he has made a transfer of so so amount to your account to show seriousness. He can swear an affidavit of sponsorship. He can also show his statement of account to show he is financially stable to sponsor you etc

You dont have to wait for GCMS note once you can tackle the above points very well and then add the initial documents you added before and apply. Please reapply in the next 1 week.

Finally, pray, fast and then sow a seed on your application or pledge to God that if he does it for you, you will do this for him. It worked for me, I pray it does for you as well.

There is nothing bad in re-applting immediately. But i will advise you get ur GCMS note first before re-applying. GCMS notes tells you the main reason why ur Visa was rejected unlike the generic refusal note you were given when ur application was rejected. So Order for ur GCMS notes, so you will know how to get ur visa in ur next application. Do not rush to re-apply. Peace

i really wanted to do that but it would take 40 -60 days before i get gcms notes, then re-applying would take about 3 months before i get feedback from embassy and resumption is 4th of January 2019. if i defer again, it wont be so nice either because the next session after that is september and i'm a newly wed, I'm leaving certain things on hold (child-birth etc) till after I get there. this is my predicament.

You failed to add letter of sponsorship-affidavit with court seal, sign, and his signature, reference letter for sponsor (From his place of work on letterhead addressed to Canadian Embassy also disclosing his work, position, salary per hour and hw many hrs he works per wk) that all you need.

Thanks so much, but i Forgot to add that, he is not an employee, he owns a law firm, he is a partner there. Would he still need a reference letter for himself in this case?

Please i applied and was rejected on grounds of sponsorship. Documents attached for sponsorship was Int'l passport data page, letter of sponsorship and bank statement. Please what other documents do I need to get from my Sponsor? My Sponsor is my UNcle.
