Ok candygist: Even if you don’t want to travel. For the sake of your unborn kids and your future generation, I will advice you to travel to USA. Your unborn kids will be forever grateful that you made that decision. Imagine say you can find husband there, job and given birth there. No dull yourself. This is a lifetime opportunity. |

Tank you hosey: Lol. The uncle is very poor and wants free labour.
@OP, Blissbath. Don't mind your family members using you. I am sure your uncle will be bribing them.
Your uncle wants free labour and can't hire nanny. He will sleep with you every time as he has no connection with you. He will use you as a sexual love-vendor for his freinds.
Be in control and have your Nursing qualification. Don't depend on anyone. Squire your work experience, marry and travel overseas with your husband and children if you have one.
Your uncle is a liar. |

Sorry ma don't be offended but you sound very poorly educated maybe from a low quality school. Because you are so quick to accept and thank these village people or witches in disguise for this stupid advise below. Please even if you were cursed to never succeed in life learn to be objective and reject such a fate. Follow your uncle!! See village people and witches in disguise as advisers |

He is not paying Udodiri01: If you ask this question again.... I go know say ur village people dey work 24 7.....tell him you go run am 3 years.... But try signing a contract... Also know the going rate for Nani work by hours and calculate for two years... $10 as u no dey pay tax..under the table $10 X 12 hours a day =120 $120 X 30 days = $ 3,600 $3600 X 24 months = $86, 400
Try define the work of Nani only.... For people talking above, the uncle wants the child to speak African language na why he no go for Yankee nani Study nursing in two years, and start earning in usd... Come to Nigeria buy 1 husbands Live happily ever after |

Tank you very much hosey: You better don't go. Your uncle wants free labour and will eventually use you as a love-vendor and sexual trafficking for his male friends.
Finish your Nursing school and get nursing work experience.
Then you can come to UK or USA. You can also bring your husband and kids. When you gain nursing experience after you graduate, let me know so I can tell you various opportunities.
Don't mind all those people telling you to travel. Most of them are kids with no life experience filled with poverty mentality. |

I appreciate... tank you linearity: hmm....
An uncle in the US, he can't even sponsor you for any US visa except for an invitation letter that anyone else can get. The US visa system does not have any preference category for extended family members, I doubt if your uncle is telling you the whole truth.
But, again...both activities are mutually exclusive, you can still go ahead and pursue your Nursing degree.....because, even if your uncle put in for your visa together, it will be a very very long time before you even go for an interview...unless he is 'packaging' a visitor's visa for your and want to pay all those in-side agents the huge fees that not only will get you in front of the line, but will ensure that pre-visa interview examiners okay your documents and pass them off to the officer who will be interviewing you as 'all clear'.
The open secret on the street is, this level of sort can cost up to N1.5m to N2m. |

Tank you...I appreciate safesurfer: It seems your uncle is forthright with you, telling you how he's going to do it
Some will tell outright lies from the onset that they want to help you, only to experience something else after you land.
Since you said in your other comment that you plan to relocate to UK after nursing school, I'll say you should weigh your options properly before making a move.
But I don't think your uncle has any ulterior motive. Just a gut feeling though. |

Tank you very much Simran94: Hello, please don’t listen to those telling you to jump on the USA offer. Poverty sometimes can make people make irrational decisions that they would end up regretting in the end.
Your uncle is a medical doctor who has an hospital over there, which means he should have enough money to pay for a professional nanny. Why can’t he hire one? Why is your uncle giving you a condition to help him take care of his child before he helps you? This sounds more like a trap.
You said it yourself that you have never met this uncle before.
Please, go to your Nursing school. Nursing and other health paths are in shortages in the UK, Canada and USA. When you graduate, apply for many NHS companies abroad and you will be great. |

Chyma231: so u want to study nursing and end up being nurse Eliza here in this zoo country ?? Oga madam ...tell ur uncle u have a friend who is ready and DM me so I will gladly take the offer , if u can't accept the offer and leave here ...there is no hope in this country . If you leave and enter United state , after two years of being there , u can leave ur uncles house and start life on your own. Yanky no be Nigeria oo ...and he can't turn u to a slave there ....America is a civilised country ...a simple 911 call can put him in prison if he tries that. Tank you Adapapaokoye: Madam go your Nursing school. But if you get coconut head like me take your uncle offer ( After one year if you get there and it's not what he promise, please move on and don't let your family back home blackmail you into staying , Make friends with Nigerian community,)but be prepared because once you rebel, everywhere go red but if you have a strong heart and resilient, you might get lucky and things will fall in place. I WAS LUCKY BUT IT WAS NOT EASY MAKE I NO LIE ..
QUICK SUMMARY OF MY OWN JOURNEY I was on my own, out of the blues my aunt asked me to come to UK to do my Masters that she will contribute partly to my education fund. Meanwhile I got a job in the bank immediately after my NYSC. I listened to my aunt, my Dad did his part.
I got to the UK and was attending lecture and also looking after her kids when not in school ( mind you she no do her part as agreed and she restricted my access to fund and kept lying to my Dad back home that I was properly taking care etc
Long story short, I dropped out after first semester because I was left in the cold I gave myself brain . Luckily for me things fell in place. I am married with a child and on the right status now.
Ps; I have only met my aunt once when I was little before migrating to Abroad. So I will be justified to say I don't know her well just like you don't know this Uncle of yours |
