FamilyRe: Why Are Some Wives Been Denied Next Of Kin Status By Their Husbands? by Blockus: 4:50pm On Aug 27, 2014
gogo2479: To answer your question, I have 5 sisters and yes I consider all of them, my mother included to be greedy
One of my sister is always wishing death on her mother in law now the woman is dead and she is coming to bother my life on what is required of me as the father in law since my father is deceased to do during the burial of the woman she has been wishing death on. Moreover, I'm married and my wife is not exempted either, she has a good job, good income but feels every major financial expenses in the house capital intense projects, are under my exclusive list as a man, all she feels responsible for is groceries. But what drives me crazy is the she still doesn't have any saving or she claims, so she is constantly nagging my life for money for this money for that and if she doesn't get it then she will start showing her true color.
O Shiit!!! shocked shocked shocked

I am truly sorry Sir, you have earned the right to make those comments I questioned earlier.

**Rushing home to appreciate all the wonderful women in my life including my Nwababy.. **

PoliticsRe: Whats Up With Gov Amechi by Blockus: 4:27pm On Aug 27, 2014
upko: undecided I don't know about the other places you guys mentioned above...but Amaechi came to rumuomasi with a truckload of police....The whole place was boiling
Angry youths blocked the entrance to the venue, but the were later dispersed by police to enable the governor gain entrance.
Outside the venue hundreds of youth gathered and were chanting anti-amaechi slogan....insulting the police and breaking bottles, the police mounted an armored personel carrier in front of the venue to prevent them from entering.

When the whole thing was over and it was time for amaechi to leave, I noticed a sachet water truck was parked just opposite the venue, and as I expected grin.......

Immediately the armored bus amaechi was inside started coming out of the venue, the whole sky was covered with flying missiles in the form of sachet water.... grin
Amaechi's convoy was pelted with lots and lots of pure water, one would have thought it rained on his convoy grin.

The police were not left out as they suffered the most, they were left soaked grin.....I saw pure water sachets being projected from about 500m away grin damn!!!

THis is an eye witness account.
Is Rumuomasi not Wike and Ejekwus territory?!

What else do you expect from those riff-raffs?

Decryptor: The AK-47 is the most easiest gun to handle by even a 6 yr old kid who is given proper training. it is not as complex as you think. That's why it is a choice for child soldiers in Sierra Leone
You think Grandma Bobby Johnson can handle this recoil?

AK's are popular child soldier weapons not cos its easy to handle per se, but cos its the cheapest weapon available on the black market to war zones especially africa.

Obiagelli: you will have to rent from a buyer, since people are still buying there's isn't a fixed price yet. Before the market got burnt its used to be around 300k annually and traders easily made that amount in profit in a week.

You will have to wait a while.
I was thinking of buying a shop and renting it out..

40 thousand *times* 12 Months = 4 Hundred and 80 Thousand per annum

6.3 Million *divided by* 480 Thousand = 13years..

Not worth the trouble for me ...
BusinessRe: $10bn Chevron Escravos GTL Produces First Liquids by Blockus: 3:35pm On Aug 27, 2014
401kk: The project costs are over-estimated. I doubt if chevron are willing to commit over five billion dollars on a project like this.
Hahahahahaa...

You think?! Ofcourse its over estimated. Problem lies with the useless NNPC who allow these IOC's to fhuck us over.

They over-price the projects, give out the major contracts to their foreign companies that masquerade under a Nigerian registered front, employ mostly Expats in the major positions and fill the lower tiers with Niggas so as to comply with Local content laws and then they start laundering our money legally..

NNPC own na just to dey collect their estacodes and largess from these IOCs.
BusinessRe: $10bn Chevron Escravos GTL Produces First Liquids by Blockus: 3:32pm On Aug 27, 2014
F117A: NNPC contributed just 15%.
The project belongs to chevron.
If its a JV project, NNPC would still have the controlling share.

Obiagelli: initial payment or down payment is 1.7m for full lockup shop, the rest you pay in instalments
How much can one rent these shops per year for?
BusinessRe: Tejuosho Ultra Modern Market (pix).... by Blockus: 3:29pm On Aug 27, 2014
lekkie073: those shops cost a minimum of 6.3m outright sale......
38 thousand Dollars...

So it is not cheap.

BusinessRe: Tejuosho Ultra Modern Market (pix).... by Blockus: 3:13pm On Aug 27, 2014
Arosa: Well if you think poor market peeps can afford nicely built shopping malls, then the private sector should come onboard and invest in this area. And no, I don't think we should continue to be mediocre in everything, we just have to make provision for all our citizens.
I dont think it sir.. I KNOW IT!!

My Grandma (God rest her soul) owned shops in Mile 3 & Mile 1 Markets of Port-Harcourt before she passed.. So I know how they run the financing of these shops. None of those Market women would be able to pay for these shops outrightly so the government makes available to them Mortgage schemes that allow them pay for the shops over a 10 - 15year period.

The Market Women in Tejuosho Market have BASTARD MONEY O!!! I am not talking about the ones that sell on the roadside either.

We cant keep building these halfassed buildings that are best suited for 1995 and still be talking about mordernization. I am certain Nigerian Architects can come up with a killer Market design that is both Mordern and higly practical and fits into the African Market style and if the contract is awarded to a reputable company like those that build the Super houses we see inside Ikoyi and V.I in general, we would see those designs come to life.

I am really tired of how the Nigerian Government is rarely ever futuristic in its approach to anything. Its like nobody has good a vision of where they want their society to be 50 years from now.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a9/Shopping-mall.jpg

Tell me what exactly it is about this picture that would make it too expensive for the government?! Is it the Glass railings or the Plaster of Paris ceiling of the lighting?! Or the smooth and detailed walls?!

And tell them it is best for the family thereby breeding frustrated wives who become frustrated teachers(I do not know why teaching is seen as the go to job) who in turn breed frustrated children grin
Yup!!!

There lives revolve around their children and church mostly..
BusinessRe: Tejuosho Ultra Modern Market (pix).... by Blockus: 3:02pm On Aug 27, 2014
Obiagelli: very true, even the old tejuosho market looked better, i will cut them some slack though because there are over 4000 shops and the design has to be practical.

There are better looking halls in the mall though and i also don't like the paint.
The Paint Job is horrible, looks like some cheapass, fakeass emulsion paint..

The Building works also looks cheap. angry
