Wike has over reached himself on this one and he should perish any ambition of contesting for the number one office in future because Nigerians now know him better for who he is ; a JUDAS
The entire Opobo Riverine community in Rivers State is currently having the annual Christmas/ New Year Festivities, which coalesce in the staging of a ritual masquerade dance known as "Nwaotam" on 1st January 2024.
Opobo is the home town of the Governor of Rivers State, Gov Siminalaye Fubara, who is the erstwhile anointed political son of the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Mr Nyesom E. Wike.
The Governor is currently in his hometown to mark the festive season with several cultural events lined up. To this effect, the Governor had his crossover service in his country home, where he declared himself winner of the trending political brouhaha in Rivers State.
With the presence of the Governor, sons and daughters of Opobo had a very long crossover night leading to 1st January 2024; the day set aside for the staging of a popular sacred dance and masquerade performance called Nwaotam.
However, videos emerging from the daylong procession indicate that the people of Opobo may be amplifying the Governor's stance at the crossover service. All that is sung during the Nwaotam festival procession of 1st January 2024 is "Nyesom Wike on Kolos."
Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the Presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries, a global Christian worship centre with its headquarters in Port Harcourt; the Garden City testified to members on Sunday 26th of December 2021 of how the onwership of a fully equiped 98 year old Birmingham Church property has been handed over to Salvation Ministries.
According to him, the state of the art twin-church property was gifted to Salvation Ministries by the trustees at a mere symbolic price of $10.
Shortly after the 5th service of Salvation Ministries last Sunday, the official church social media accounts made public post on the details of the shocking testimony.
The post reads:
This can only be God! Formerly Called Central Baptist Church Now Called Salvation Ministries.
Central Baptist Church was founded and erected in October 1923 in Tarrant, Alabama. It is located at 1225 E. Lake Blvd, Birmingham, Alabama, United States.
The property has been an integral part of the community for decades and comprises 3 floors, fully equipped with an institutional kitchen that can prepare meals for 1,000 people at a time. It has two sanctuaries; the first ican seat 750 – 900 people (with two floors) and the second sanctuary seats 250 – 350 people.
The property comprises two massive buildings joined together and both have three floors. The total number of rooms is 27-32. It has an administrative section which has a Pastors' office and a section for a secretary and offices for staff. It has over 9 lavatories and state of an art indoor gymnasium in the middle of the building which is large enough to seat up to 500 or more people and is furnished to host two basketball teams in a game. It also has changing rooms.
Behind the sanctuary, there is a customized area for indoor baptism with views from the sanctuary. It has several rooms for children's ministry, game rooms for entertainment, cloakrooms for choir members, a library, multiple storage rooms, a prayer room, over 4 grand pianos (top quality), three external entrances, and parking for members, around the church premises.
There is also a plot of land that can be used to erect a live-in quarter in the future. The property was insured for a monetary value of 7 million USD. The building itself has a square footage of 51,000 square ft.
The previous Mayor of the city of Tarrant, the Honorable Loxcil B. Tuck was the mayor for 16 years (the Longest-serving female mayor in the history of the state of Alabama) until she retired in 2020. She was one of the trustees of Central Baptist Church in Tarrant.
In 2020, she and the trustees of the church where she has worshipped for over 40 years, decided that the time had come for them to hand the church to an aith and Bible-believing church, that would take it over and use it for the glory to God, to reach out and make great impact in the City of Birmingham and state of Alabama.
They unanimously decided to reach out to Billy Graham Ministries, who they have so much respect for, based on the impact of the ministry globally.
When they reached out to Billy Graham Ministries, they were elated and appreciative but surprisingly, after talking amongst themselves, they decided that they would rather hand the building to another ministry that has great integrity and one that preaches and lives by the undiluted Word of God.
They decided that the only ministry that fits the description, is no other than Salvation Ministries, under the leadership of Pastor David Ibiyeomie. The only condition given was for Salvation Ministries to make a one-time donation of $1,000 to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
They reached out to Salvation Ministries and the Trustees of Central Baptist Church obliged them and by the favor of God, things moved quickly since October 2021, and on the 22nd of December 2021, the ownership of the property was transferred to Salvation Ministries, with Our Presiding Pastor, Billy Graham ministries and the church trustees in attendance.
Salvation Ministries paid only a symbolic token of $10 for the building. This building came by the favor of God alone and to Him alone, be all the glory and praise in Jesus’s name. Truly we are ending the year well.
Don't be deceived, Nengi would never take her own money to buy this, at least not for now. Na one client don prove say him ready show her love with this.
Maybe this is why Gov. Wike is going round the country, shopping for the best pocketable-politician that will come and cut the ribbon and receive a cash gift of 100million Naira
Following the continued closure of the Okoro-Nu-Odu (Rumuokoro) flyover in Port Harcourt weeks after its completion, commuters now resort to being pushed on carts and wheelbarrows for as much as N100.
This is because of the over 1km distance that is open for trekking only. So if you feel weak and can't walk, some hustlers (mostly Abokis) are available to ride you on their wheelbarrows for N50 and N100, depending on how far they ferry you.
It will interest you to note that the flyover has been completed since early January 2021, but remains closed from motorists as it has not yet been commissioned by Governor Wike.
Nengi has just cruised her way to the finals of #bbnaijalockdown after she won the last HOH challenge for week 9. You will recall that Nengi was the 1st HOH for this season's #bbnaija.
However, the HOH rides solo as she is not allowed to appoint a deputy.
Consequently, 4 housemates are up for possible eviction this week after a unique process that forced two separate groups to strategise and nominate 2 housemates from opposing groups.
Team White nominates: 1. Ozo 2. Dorathy
Team Black: Nominates: 3. Laycon 4. Trikytee
Neo and Vee also managed to escape into the last week with Nengi.
