Most of you focus on oil and resources, and not how we use those resources to make things for the world. That's why we had subsidy that stifled domestic refined production and led to imports, and loss of refineries, and jobs. NOw that subsidy has gone, we are a net exporter of petrol. AND THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED SOON IF WE HAD REMOVED SUBSIDY ages ago.

We better stop looking for resurces to sell, and start using them to make things that benefit the world...or else..

And are you aware that from 2014- date, oil prices have been too low to sustain budgets without borrowing. COVID really knocked down oil prices to such low levels, that borrowing ramped up. Also, we was borrowing to pay subsidy.

THen tinubu took over and was forced to borrow even more, which is why he cut subsidy on fuel and forex, to reduce the already hefty borrowing, higher than all on record, that he had to do.
