They owe every country the colonized an apology.

They destroyed Nigeria and gave us a ticking time bomb

Look at those Northerners and look at the south and tell me how we are identical or will ever be the same

North and south way of life totally different and doesn't align

Imagine a United south without the Backwards North

We'd be at worst like South Africa 🇿🇦 Or Ukraine
What stopped the south from been a Sovereign nation b4 the British ppl came, it would have been difficult for the British to force two independent countries into one, if they were already existing.

Yes, to an extent. But what do they owe us for destroying our traditional institutions and heritage?

Na ingratitude go kii many of you Africans. Even in personal relationships, you are some of the most ungrateful wretches that the world has to offer.

If you are so angry with the British that you are sure you gained absolutely nothing from them, the right way to start expressing your anger is to throw away everything you got through them - like this English you are speaking and this technology you are using.

This English and this tech are your only means of connecting with the world. It's now 60 years since the British left us, yet we are still much worse than they left us. Yet, we think we are wiser for hating on the British, just as we think we are wiser for hating on one another.

Read this short article: Another Blow On Igbo-Yoruba Rivalry and see how stupid this generation of Nigerians have become compared to past generations. We have been getting worse every day since the British left us my dear.

See, this one don start the only thing he knows how to do...

What a shame!
100% well said.

Blacks are the most useless ungrateful race.

Left with them the World would still have been in dark ages.

Let's stop the hyping of Lagos state.
Most of the key investments and infrastructure that enable Lagos to generate huge IGR were done or established by the federal government when Lagos was the federal capital e.g. sea ports, airports, roads, location of banks and company headquarters, embassies etc. in Lagos etc.
These infrastructure had attracted further investments, companies , workers and businesses to Lagos and that is the reason Lagos is getting huge IGR. It is not by any special hard work or innovation of any Lagos state governor or government. A similar thing would happen in any former federal capital if it had the kind of investments that went to Lagos when it was federal capital

DIVINEEVIDENCE:
Thanks for this comment.

1. Northern Nigeria already planned a large scale massacre.

2. They burned the REC of Kaduna alive in his house with his family to cover up the rigging in Kd state.

3. APC had already threatened to form a parallel government if GEJ didn't hand over to them.

4. Boko Haram had already showed their open allegiance to Buhari.

5. Officials of Jonathan's government who were Muslims had already been persuaded that the election was a jihad: top security bromides from the presidential villa were leaked to the press including the names and identity of DSS personnel.

6. The US had predicted that Nigeria will become a failed state in 2015.

7. Northern Nigeria took pettiness to levels of hatred: pelting the presidential convoy with stones and washing/'cleansing' their streets after Jonathan's visits.

8. Every security issue was blown out of proportion by aligned media houses such as Sahareporters and co.

APC pulled every stunt in the book and left no stone unturned.
Jonathan saw a palace coup, an impending civil war and chose to be sensible.

Ironically, the world congratulated the so-called loser of the election more than the acclaimed winner.

Nine years after, the election loser is holding international appearances while the winner has permanently retired to village life, with barely any value in international circles.
Hmm!!!! Well said.

You need to let go of your unfounded bias.

Most of those who campaigned vigorously against Jonathan in 2004 and saw a messiah in Buhari are still stuck in the past. While some may agree that Buhari destroyed Nigeria beyond expectation, they are never ready to take responsibility for their roles in this monumental error. Instead of admitting the error of their judgement that brought Buhari to power, they would rather blame Jonathan for not being a tyrant enough to cling to power even when majority of Nigeria active voters were deludedly in favoour of Saint Buhari at the time.

Another intelligent man with a good grasp of the reality facing of Nigeria Tinubu met on ground. Your kind are a rare breed on this forum. Lol. Image a country subsidising her own currency to give it false value, only forex trader like illiterate Mompha etal are cashing out from, rather than doing the right thing of creating real and retained value in the Naira by simply working to raise Nigeria's true economic value and productivity which is exactly Tinubu's plan.

If not that most Nigerians are just simpletons who live to eat, drink, fck, breed and Party, how do they think economically great nations, like the UK and USA, retain the high value in their currencies year in and out for decades and counting?

All Nigerians know to do is moan at the exchange rate of pounds and dollars to Naira without understanding it should be this way, as a reflection of our very poor economy, till we work, as Tinubu is trying to do, to gain a diversified economy with a trade surplus through producing more goods and services to the world than we import.

Who are we fooling but ourselves subsidising the Naira when a reasonable adult will understand we must swallow the bitter pill of naira devaluation to then focus on economic greatness that will raise and retain the value of Naira meritocratically.

It is like being jobless to then be borrowing and owing heavily to buy a Ferrari just to look good whereas others who have Ferraris and Lambos have productive and profitable businesses that allows them to comfortably afford whatever luxury they want.

419 is not the exclusive reserve of Hushpuppi Etal. Our leaders, and all past Presidents, engage in it too but Tinubu is refusing to continue the trend. He is sticking to his guns resolutely because he fully understand that things cannot be donee differently, and without pain, if Nigeria is to be great.

The only people who enjoyed how Nigeria was are politicians and the elites connected to them. To be left to chop in peace, those people gave Nigerians the barest minimum leaving many Nigerians living no better than pet dogs in the UK and USA even though they don't realize it. This is the awful reality BAT is try to change. They subsized electricity but you never see it. Pay more under Tinubu and considerably increased power supply which increases personal and business productivity, virtually all truthful Nigerians can testify to, is our reality today. It is a no-brainer, for critical thinkers, that Tinubu may be the best President Nigeria has ever had if given time and support to work.
Very fake and senseless writeup.

This is very shameful coming from OBJ who also had zero plans and was clueless about what to do or how to lead Nigeria. While countries like the UAE who's oil production was just 50k barrels per day, and that of Nigeria was 2 million barrels per day, were busy borrowing money from different sources to build the kind of infrastructure they now have, OBJ's only solution to Nigeria's problem was to pay up all Nigeria's debt.

This can be likened to a family with an empty land that they have not developed, instead of using money to develop the land and build a hotel, you decided to use the money you would have used to build a standard 5 star hotel to pay up debts you are owing. While your neighbor who doesn't even have the kind of money you have went ahead to borrow money from different people to build and furnish the 5 star hotel. At the end of the day it is you that they used your money to pay debt that will suffer while those that borrowed to develop theirs have paid off all their debts and are now enjoying.

That is how clueless and wicked our OBJ, was and to make matters worst, he installed GEJ who didn't commission a single project as Governor of Bayelsa state then to become the vice President instead of choosing Donald Duke who was by far the best Governor in the whole of Africa, that built the then best tourist destination in Africa (obodu Cattle ranch) and Africa's biggest premier resort Tinapa, with the Calabar Carnivals that people from all over the world come to enjoy during Christmas. Imagine if Donald Duke ended up becoming the President instead of GEJ, just imagine how he would have transformed Nigeria. With Donald Duke, there will never have been a Buhari Presidency, and Tinubu's. It was OBJ's wickedness to punish Nigerians that made him bring GEJ who didn't have a track record of deliverables.
Gibberish.

let me educate you on the meaning of how to plan.
You removed subsidy. What measures did you put in place before you removed it? If T-pain had a plan he would have at least put some measures in place to curtail they effects on the masses before announcing it's removal. You don't just do something without planning for it. Its just like saying I want to visit Canada. Will you just teleport to Canada. You need to plan for the trip, get your visa, arrange for accomodation, get money for expenses etc. T-pain just made announcement without planning for it. That's why his administration became a disaster from day 1.

Secondly he floated naira. What plans did you make for contingency? You just banked on a foolish experiment knowing fully well that there were other measures in place to strengthen the naira. Emeiefele had plans and put measures in place but because of your stupid overated egotistical behavior, you cancelled all his policies and without thinking put your own policy in place!. Oga that's not how to plan.

Thirdly he approved LG autonomy, that one is not planning it's a case that has been debated on before T-pain assumed office. And it was decided on by the supreme court.

Fourtly you talked about deregulating the downstream sector, actually the downstream sector had been deregulated before T-pain assumed office, and if he has a serious plan why is there no minister for petroleum?

I can go on and on but to summarize what I wrote up there. Tinubu has no plan he is just practicing Trial and error government just like his predecessor to see which one actually favors him the only difference is just that his own is worse.

Tinubu won Nigerian election inspite of the insults he received on Twitter, if elections are won online Peter Obi would have won.

Tinubu proved beyond a reasonable doubt that true power does not lie online it lies offline and it doesn't make noise.

Reno then thinks that insulting Peter Obi and Obidents ONLINE will make Tinubu like him but the reverse is more likely, it might even make Tinubu despise him for having nothing better to do with his time.

Tinubu judges people strictly based on Actions no matter how little (not words no matter how loud) and he never forgot that Reno's staged a protest against him, he hasn't staged a protest against Peter Obi so far.

Reno thinks like an Obident.
