chrisifeanyi: There is no age limit for pwc recruitment. Pwc is a place you will be looking forward to work with people of all ages. The regret mail might be connected to other issues but certainly not age.Guy,say not what you do not know, age is a major restriction for entry level staffs at pwc, its actually maximum of 26 years old, they just decided not to state it this year, contrary to last year, I don't know y. And for all those mentioning ICAN, it doesn't matter at this stage oo,it will only help u during the final selection, after you have proven ur competence. |

Plus this 3.2 km in 10mins thing no go easy oo dats like 3200metres,even usain bolt runs 100metres in 9 secondss approximately if he's to run 3.2 km, he'll spend nothing less dan 5mins(do the maths) at his fastest, and dats the fastest man in the world oo,dats almost like a marathon, dat means for you to be save,u must be able to run 6 metres per second . God help us all sha |

Airforce1: Your mates dey born BOY, na girl u see born.what a fool!! And who told u its in hands to determine the sex of his child Only God can decide that, and if God give u girl go throway am inside lagoon say u no want, |
kennytidistar: I believe he will be call provided all conditions are met, but I'm assuring you on this 2:1 is not a priority, oga,u are confusing international recruitment for multinational company recruitment international companies are compainies where there major workforce and operating arm is located in other countries but are recruiting in anoda country for reasons best known to them, while multinational companies are companies with subdivisions in many continents of the world, and multinational company dats asks for ur CGPA most times its jst for formalty as long as u meet the minimum criteria,2'1 they will not verify it at the end of the day only what you have on your certificate, and from my knowledge it doesn't state ur CGPA,they hardly request for transcripts, then who told ur domestic employees earn the same as their counterparts in oda countries? Go and do ur research again oo,many factors are put into consideration in determining local wages like rate of inflation, pace of economic growth and development, cost of living, amount of proffit declared in the region, tax rate and so on, and clearly this varies from country to country, and goes along way in determining the acceptable pay for different locations, I can confidently use deloitte as an example, even the accenture that u are talking about,I applied for their graduate trainee about 3 months ago and it clearly stated 2'1,so don't know where ur own theory is coming from oo |
kennytidistar: I disagree with you, whenever a recruitment is conducted within such may be applicable, but for an international application like this it is inapplicable, do you know you can work in Nigeria with your UAE certificate even if you are an indigence of Dubai provided you have the necessary permit to enable you work in Nigeria. So my dear friend your 2:1 is not applicable here, this is an international recruitment for Christ sake they are not recruiting only from Nigeria they have generally acceptable Standard for evaluating such credentials, the last time I applied for a recruitment in Swiss my grade was firstly converted to USA Standard before they could take decision likewise others who applied from other country. I'm not saying if individual nationals intend to recruit individual ly .e.g chevron Nigeria recruiting is different from chevron international looking for expatriate. or are you a learner?,go back and look at the advert u applied for, u'll see 'international graduate program-Nigeria', who told u its one body handling the whole recruitment because it is international, ofcourse its their Nigerian subdivision that's handling it na,and thier recruitment. recruitments is based on the current multinational standard in the nigeria, their aim remains to fetch the best quality graduate and in this country, we pay a lot of attention to paper qualification, what abt shell's own that is ongoing.its also world wide na, it clearly states 2'1 no two ways about it, why didn't they now convert the CGPA's to spanish first? No,I think you are the learner, mayb when they want to pay you too, ur salary will be in yen or euros because its a multinational company or because an employee of thiers in anoda country is earning 10thousand dollars it also means u must also earn 10thousand dollars or the naira equivalent? ,the recruitment is based on the local recruitment standard of respective country, all other factors put into consideration, same with employment conditions and welfare packages |
It has become a common phenomenon with workforce, its ths same situation with firstbannk and some odas they conducted recently, unnecessarily delays, anyway the claim to handover the results to the company as soon as they are done marking for the company to decide,so I guess there's only one thing to do, which is to wait, by the way I wonder why some people will jst come to a thread and begin to blab nonsense without any facts,if u don't av anything to say no one asked you to spread ur virus na,get a life! |
Does anyone else want to share the good news with us? or Is it safe to conclude that EY has concluded their interviews and are now shortlisting successfull candidates to be hired? |
Bro,there is no multinational company in dis country that accepts anything less than 2'1, they have various standards based on what is obtainable in different countries, so stop comparing nigeria to uae, there's no relationship, and even the standard chartered bank in question advertised an opening earlier dis year and insisted on 2'1, for the same graduate wholesale banking post, mayb they jst decided to be silent about it this time,so that theory is false I don't mean to burst anyones bubble here oo,and am not saying its impossible, buh to say the least his chances are slim, dats jst the simple truth |

same here ooo |
oggy89: @blue heffner. Thanx bro for d info..but pls wat time were u scheduled for?11am,although I wasn't interviewed till around after 12 |
makoo579: Hmmm nawaooo. Scary ish. Na to remove dis Ican thing from Cv ooo den appear with it after some months of being hiredhaba u don't need to remove it na,it actually has its advantages cos it gives u an upper hand wen they are considering those that will be recruited, also wen it comes to salary negotiation,it will be put into consideration, and u might get a higher pay,dat was how kpmg did theirs |
oggy89: @blueheffner..pls wat time was ur interview yesterday? And hw long did d whole process take? And how many came for dat batch? Pls reply!!well mine took about 40-45 mins sha, but some pples own were relatively shorter,we were about 10 while I was there sha,but they had a list from which had the names of the people that were scheduled for the interview that day,so maybe they were expecting more peple dat day,I think everyother info can be gotten from my previous post |
Well, let me be the representative of yesterdays interviewees, the panel consisted of 3 people, one from each of their respective departments (assurance, tax and advisory) and they all had questions to ask,I was initially asked about the department I was interested in joining,I told dem,and den they asked for the reasons why. After that, then the drilling begun, since I am an accounting graduate and a chartered accountant for that matter,I was given different case scenarios to solve,I was asked questions from audit, financial accounting and advisory, I think I did well anyway, for those that aren't accounting graduates,I think their interviews will be a little shorter cos the only important thing is for u to know how to prove to dem that you will be valuable to the organisation, and y u shld be considered for the position. We were asked to fill a bulky questionaire with a lot of questions, before the interview sha,and den after the interview, everybody headed home, that's practically all of it,hope u're all satisfied ![]() |
