Unlike the majority of the other immigrants in western countries Somalis migration was due to the conflict that sparked in their country in 1991. Proud Somali citizen turned refugee seeking safety and well-being whereas other immigrant are merely economic migrants seeking jobs. Therefore Somalis did not had the choice to come out of their country but where forced by the unpleasant circumstance they faced. Having to flee your native country is not easy specially with the trauma and hardship they faced. Therefore 'fitting in' into their adopted countries can be a struggle, despite that Somalis tried their hardest and flourished in their adopted countries. Majority of Somalis have the mind frame of returning to their native country once it get's the necessary peace. I would like to share with you all notable Somalis in the diaspora in different sectors such as the media, culture, music, education, politics, business and sports. Bare in mind there are only roughly 1.5 million Somalis in diaspora, spread out in North America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and other parts of Africa. Somalis are a old ethnic group from the Horn of Africa, their main country is Somalia (10 million) and Djibouti (500,000) but also present in Ethiopia (4 million) and Kenya (2 million). There are roughly 17 million Somalis in the world. It's a sin for being unhygienic and dirty in islam, and Somalis also hate dirt and smell. They are clean freaks, i love my people. |
I support this welcoming news. Nigeria should become like Sudan. I support the muslim Nigerian's proposal to divide Nigeria into two countries. The muslim with the bigger land will be given referendum on 26 June, and most likely the country will be divided, oil money come to daddy aka North Nigeria. Go go go go Islam. Amen ![]() |
Yes the bastardo has leave!! Goodluck go do one and jump of a cliff. |
Oh I can smell Somalia just by staring at those pics. Homesick ![]() |
Baby, my job is to make u happy and give u orgasmi'c feelings. Come to me babe x |
Had the best night, with some hot Nigerian booty, what do guys love about naja girls? ![]() |
^ You will be treated well. There are many non-muslim tourist and worker's in Somalia. Aslong as you stay in the government controlled area you will be fine. |
Come on Fulani's win the battle! Finish these minority igbo's. Go go fulani. Get them, one by one. Get machette's, ak47 and riffles. ![]() |
i love my country s.o.m.a.l.i.a ![]() |
Like I said, I'aint a nigerian. Ok! ![]() |
Some fool. How can a Nigerian disguise as a Somali. I mean the big large nose and the fat lips with nappy hair gives it away. No, I'aint a multi nicker, I'm a african brother from Somalia and no Nigerian can disguise as me or any Somali. |
Shit! He has rigged the vote, expect what happened in Kenya in 2007 and Ivory Coast recently to happen Nigeria. Down down Jonathan Badluck!! |
Lol @ igbo's in Somalia. Pigs can fly. ![]() |
Jonathan is from the minority group, simple as that peeps! He was born in a hut, next to Niger and Nigeria border, he is from poor group. He has to step down or he will be forced. |
^ Somalis are business people, and can do anything in any condition. By the way for the last 2 years the government has become stronger and controls near all of the capital city and other districts in all the regions. |
I feel homesick, I can't wait to go Somalia this summer. Chilling in the beach in the afternoon, going to town in the evening and going to my second wives bedroom in the night. ![]() |
There is no such thing as a 'somalian' it is Somali. Yes, I'm a 'Somali'. ![]() |
Abeg abeg, yeah keep begging. Fulanis are the champions. |
If zulu fight occurs my money is on the fulanis ![]() |
Yes Igaloo aka igbo are minority don't shoot at the messenger! |
Gay |
Igbos are minority hence are scared of fulanis but i don't why a fulani will fear a igbos. |
Why are Igbo's scared of Fulani's? And who do u think will win killing battles? My money is on the great Fulanis. ![]() |
Not good idea. Igbo would not handle being called minority after the census proves that they are the blacksheep of Nigeria. Go go fulani tribe! |
There is still war going on, but life still goes on. I don't think no other nation's can handle 20 years of war and the country looking beautiful at the same time. Hopefuly peace will return in Somalia soon, and it will once again become the strongest/richest country in Africa like before the war happened. ![]() |
This tribe are minority in Nigeria. Go go fulani tribe ![]() |
Igbos support Mr. Goodluck because they are afraid of Hutus invading their land. ![]() |
Just wondering if there are Muslim candidates in the election. Also if there is what's his name? I hope he wins. ![]() |
Is the Northern Nigeria a Muslim area? Are there more Muslims in Nigeria or more Christians? |
Feel free to leave comments and questions about my country. ![]() |
