When next I head back to Nigeria, will pick up a pack of kale seedlings for just N200, hoping immigration will not think l dey traffic stuff. grin

the distance between central nairobi and kasarani,is like for those familiar with lagos, ketu to yaba where bus fare is N150 and petrol is N97 per litre but they charge between N80 to N95 depending the time you use it & theirs is N225! what is wrong?
TravelRe: On Summer Holiday To Nairobi Kenya by bluerange(f): 6:42pm On Sep 07, 2013
@oolumide, l can relate how you feel now as u are about leaving kenya. that is a deep question u asked, west africa is so different! for me llving in kenya is less stressful and cheaper. despite their petrol is N225 per litre, bus fare is cheaper!

TravelRe: On Summer Holiday To Nairobi Kenya by bluerange(f): 10:18pm On Sep 04, 2013
@oolumide, you are into Agriculture, that is nice. I was involved in rice production and had to work in different rural communities in the east. That is where I built my confidence in treading new territories. They are some places that seems that no one have ever lived since the creation of the world grin. I had to experiment with rice husk waste, went to Rice mills where you've got mountains of burnt rice husk lying there as waste. I used the whitish ash which has cement content, mixed it with portland cement and laterite. I made wonderful bricks out of them. grin
