Jesus bu Eze! though am missing the procession back in my home parish in Lagos but am enjoying the procession here in Nairobi though conducted mostly in Swahili, you can still feel the Universality of the Mother Church, the dances here are wow!

it depends on the upbringing. am igbo (lmo) born and raised in lagos but l grew up addressing my older ones as dede and dada. no matter the tribe am particular about a child being respectful to older ones as it helps in character building.

@omen100, don't be too sure about lagos, if you happen to be on the bridge near National theatre heading to the island especially in the morning around 7, look down especially if you are in a BRT bus and see people squatting, passing out waste.

@cheksbry, if u are around nairobi and want to eat home food daily that is no problem, with just N485 you can easily eat a plate of semolina and any local soup of your choice laced with meat and dried fish, all these at nwanyi awka's place!

Not missing much foodwise in Nairobi, fiofio dey market but l not fit waste gas to cook am, okro and plantain dey here, salad things over cheap here, varieties of beans full here but l never see olotu not to talk of oloyin! palm oil comes from congo.

while the one who had stroke was being treated in the village, his family in lagos was thrown out of their Ezekiel street, lkeja home by the court. It is all history now but it shows that there is no gain in being dishonest & feeling cool about it

@Vladm, l feel u.The three were so arrogant & boasted openly that they were spiritually fortified. One got struck by stroke, the other 2 got invoolved in an accident, one died on the spot, the other, wheelchair. let me not talk about their widows!
