it is not a lagos nor a south-west issue only, am frm the south-east & they operate well there. lt is national even the minister of state for either labour or trade who is from Benue is a former agbero, was shown on zaki's heroes of our times on AIT.

How can? they are necessary evils for the govt. it is easy for Fashola to quote how much Lagosian spend on parties, he should tell us how much agberos make daily @ each bus-stop and parks in Lagos, how much is remitted to govt & what they keep!

My street back in Lagos has 13 Churches, one is under a canopy in front of a bungalow 2 houses away from a Redeem Church, Sundays is always a nightmare-the noise and car parking, u don't know which Church member is blocking your entrance!

have stopped taking all these anti-malaria tablets for 2yrs and stuck to taking a mug of warm pure cocoa powder drink every night (without adding sugar nor milk). l learnt this in Ghana.

Miss eating grasscutter (anu nchi), eat my fill when l was involved in rice cultitavation, had over 65 traps scattered round the large rice field on a daily basis it caught an average of 7 grasscutters for about 2 months. lt went into soups and stew

love pepper so much but here in kenya dem no like am at all! when they see u blending tomatoes and pepper together they stare at you as if they have seen a ghost! they don't know what we call stew.

That's good. As for me, I have speaking the german language all my life. I was born in Germany and partially brought up there. I learnt to speak English when I was almost 7 years old in the UK. Before then, german is the only language I knew how to speak.

On a side note, I have a friend of mine here with me. She wants to know how she can study in Kenya. How does she obtain student visa? How does she apply to a Kenyan university? Do you know by any chance? Thanks.

Student Visa is called Kenyan Pupils Pass, Some come to the country on a Kenya Tourist Visa and then get the Pupils Pass (Kenya Student Visa) at the Department of Immigration in Kenya. She needs to contact the International office of her chosen University. The procedure is simple and would only cost about $25.

I can't remember clearly now but I think it is one of those buildings opposite Eke Awka, that is if the guy is still operating there because i was there last in 2007.

If it is Lagos dem plenty. I used to know someone years back in Awka who operated a language school (Spanish, German, French and Italian) along Ziks Avenue, no longer with his contact. By the way, am learning the German language alongside my study here in Nairobi and I tell you it is wonderful.

am glad you folks weren't around, I can imagine the phone calls from Nigeria, to ascertain your safety just as friends and Family have been calling my line. Am currently outside Kenya but would be heading back to Nairobi next week. I don't feel scared heading back though family have warned me to keep off shopping malls but what will it be like to be there and not go to the malls. Sha, The Lord is our Shepherd.
