However I support the change of HND to BTECH. Let Polys sill remain, they serve their purpose which is Technical education.

All polythecnic suppose to offer should just have been National Diploma or Call it Higher National Diploma and not having both OND and HND. That is nonsence just for income sake.
We have NABTEB which is technical and should be expressly considered for HND and not all this charrade that is ongoing. Whoever then needs a B.Tech should proceed to the university.

All that is required is course restructuring and not trying to equivalent HND with BSc.

All Federal University of Technology issue a B.tech certificate which is usually or often rated above Bsc.
I guess you never knew.
