I was forced to shake my head while going through the proposed annual salaries. The average annual pay is around 3.5million. That's less than 300k per month. WTF?? 🤥 A bus or truck driver can earn far more than this in a month. Our professors deserve better salary than this meager pay na.

Respect! In 1988, Hashim as UNILAG student led protest that broke Police cordon to confront Thatcher at Lagos Airport over her support for Apartheid. He and 4 others were arrested on tarmac. Nearly 4 decades later, this remains part of his public record as anti-apartheid activist. This is real activism, not Twitter activism. True leader who believes international figures should be held accountable.

I grew up in the 70s through 80s and 90s. I can boldly say it that the spirit of activism is dead in Nigeria. There are no more genuine activists, be it student, human right or political activist, everybody is now after money. In those days, activists were so patriotic and passionate about Nigeria, you can't induce them with money. I was there in Ibadan when a convoy of six cars and a case full of cash was set ablaze by UI students because the owner (Arisekola) was a supporter of military government. But today everybody is after money in the name of activism.

What America did to Iran is more inhumane and very brutal than what Russia did to Ukraine. But to some hypocrites, America is right while Russia is wrong

People bring their businesses from every part of the world to Yoruba land. There are Chinese businessmen here, there are Lebanese, Arabs, Germans, Indians and many others. None of them is complaining about Yoruba people, only Igbos are complaining. Those who owned factories, refineries and industrial parks in the southwest are not complaining, the 2by2 shop owners are the ones complaining. The merchant of fake products LoL!

The Ibadan-Ife-Ilesha-Akure highway. I heard that there's also the Akure- Benin expressway, Ibadan-Abeokuta and Ibadan - Ijebu express ways.

The establishment of more battalions which has brought more military establishments to help resolve the insecurity issues ravaging the land.

If this is all the southwest can benefit from Tinubu in 4 years, a big shame on him and APC.

Tinubu needs to avoid a runoff vs Atiku.

Atiku with the support of other oppositions like Obi and Makinde will box Tinubu to a corner.

Only Atiku understands the deceptions and shenanigans of this government in power

You probably don't know that Michael was born into a music family, all his siblings were into music, their father was a music producer. So how do you expect such a person not to master musical instruments?

I will never take those who can't perform on stage with a live band serious. They are not music artists. A genuine music artist should be able to perform with a live band, and should be able to master at least one musical instrument.

I doubt the authenticity of this stats, especially Ondo State where there is no functional teaching hospital. Even the general hospitals are in a very poor state. The only functional health facilities in Ondo State at the moment are FMC, Traumatic Center Ondo and Mother and Child. Nothing more.

I believe this is a Catholic missionary school. Competition is always stiff and tough in this type of school because of high population of brilliant students. For her to stand out among the rest, it means she's extraordinarily brilliant.

APC still remains the most popular party in the country. But whenever I remember the downfall of almighty PDP, I know the downfall of APC is also a matter of time. Any party that goes against the well-being of common people will eventually fail.

The biggest politician currently from the North is Atiku, the most popular politician currently in the south is Obi. A combo of Atiku and Obi would've easily unseated Tinubu. But Tinubu is coasting to victory next year, not because he is the most popular candidate, but because there will be no Atiku/Obi joint ticket.
