Real Madrid have been named the most valuable club in world football, with Barcelona overtaking Manchester United to move into second place.

In Forbes' annual list, external, Real Madrid have been valued at $9.5bn (£7.06bn), up from £6.75bn (£5.02bn) a year ago, with Barcelona second at $7.5bn (£5.57bn) and Manchester United third at $7.2bn (£5.35bn).

United's revenue was $865m (£643m) for the 2024-25 season, a campaign in which they finished 15th in the Premier League and lost in the Europa League final.

The Premier League has six teams in the top 10 and 11 in the top 30.

Liverpool, who won the English title in the 2024-25 season, remain fourth with a value of $6.2bn (£4.61bn) while Manchester City drop from fifth to seventh at $5.5bn (£4.09bn).

You are correct that Atiku will sweep Northeast and Northwest.

But how is he going to get a good show in Ondo, Oyo and Osun? Except Makinde is going to run with him. Aregbesola will give him some edge yes but not enough to give him a win, at most he might get 25% in Osun state only.


Southwest is going to be on lock down for Tinubu.


Atiku should be gunning for a rerun by making sure he sweeps the entire Northwest and Northeast and not allow Tinubu get 25% in most Northeast and Northwest states, thats the only way he can stand a chance through rerun which will lead to realignment.

If you took time to read through my proposition with open mind, you can see that I clearly stated it that Atiku Abubakar will win Northwest and Northeast with bigger margin than he did in 2023 because he has automatically inherited majority (not all) of Buhari's Northern supporters.


That being said, Northern bloc vote is not enough to make him President, he needs to also do well by scoring at least 25% of total votes cast in two more Southern regions, which will be highly impossible with Obi and Tinubu on the ballot and considering the fact that no sitting Governor from the South is backing Atiku like he had in 2023.


If you consider all these factors, you will realize that Atiku will become Buhari of 2003, 2007 and 2011 who always won Northeast and Northwest with wide margin but usually fail to get 25% in the South until he finally aligned with Tinubu, Amaechi, Rochas, Chris Ngige, Fayemi, Oshiomhole, etc in 2014/2015 which gave him inroads in the South and he won.


Yes a united opposition would have been better in resisting Tinubu's rigging agenda, but still, if each candidate holds their stronghold or base tight and stand against Tinubu's rigging plans in their stronghold, it is still the same.


The only advantage Tinubu have in this upcoming 2027 Presidential election is the power of incumbency, that's all
