Of course they are very very relevant. In my town, domestic disputes, land disputes, communal crisis and other minor cases are settled in the king palace. Some years ago, when secret cults became too rampant in the town and the police could not stop them, it was the intervention of our king that saved us from those deadly boys. Many of them fled the town and dare not come back till today. |
Fearyourcreator:But you saw probably in my comment, didn't you? It tells you that I wasn't really sure of the year. Una sha like to dey look for people's fault upandown. Na wa o |
sleek214:That's what I've been saying. If Obi and Kwankwaso contest in another party, it is going to be a blessing in disguise for Atiku. Northern block votes is sure for Atiku. But you see south, Obi will split and spoil it for Tinubu, most especially in the SouthEast and SouthSouth. |
lionphil:That was probably the time of saburi as SUG president. |
This news has no source. It is therefore a fake news |
raumdeuter:I hope you don't include Ondo in this your prediction. At least 4 out of every 5 people here are raining curses on Tinubu everyday, even publicly on radio and tv programs. Many of us that supported and canvassed for him in 2023 are facing serious backlash from our people everyday. You can't force people who have been disappointed and impoverished by Tinubu's government to support him again. The poor performance of the current governor of Ondo State will also create more problem for Tinubu here. As long as people's votes will really count, Tinubu will struggle to win in Ondo State. Just wait and see |
9jatriot:The national legal adviser is a member of the national executive committee (NEC) of a political party. Same as party secretary, party chairman, treasurer etc. It is not appropriate to be a NEC member of two different parties at the same time. In the case of Egwuaba, he is listed on INEC portal as a NEC member of APM and NDC. 👇

$475 for only gas and grocery, 🤥 chai! .. that same amount can buy half plot of land in some cities in Nigeria. A full plot of land in some towns. 3 plots in some villages. |
OAU school 2 back then in our days (early 2000s) were Motion Ground and SUB. Must have probably changed now. ![]() |
I disagree that INEC forgot to update the details on their portal since last year. They deliberately allowed the same name to appear twice with two different political parties. They did it on purpose. INEC is too biased and compromised. |
floss:Is there any opposition party that is not going through leadership crisis at the moment? I doubt if there's any. At least I know there are crises in SDP, LP, PDP, Accord, NDC, ADC and AAC. |
I believe INEC deliberately allowed the name to appear twice on their portal. They did it on purpose. It is also very obvious that INEC has not been fair with opposition parties. INEC is too biased and compromised. |
MrsAyomide:Since you have decided to derail this thread, I'll help you derail it more. Do you know that Manchester United would have easily won the EPL title if Michael Carrick had been the coach at the beginning of this season |
APC actually controls 34 states 31 states directly 3 states indirectly Except only Oyo and Bauchi |
Has anybody noticed that any thread about tunji ojo on nairaland, most of the comments on first page are from same person with different monikers. |
HacheNoire:You have no one? 🤥 That means you are just a armchair critic. People like you shouldn't be complaining since you can't proffer any solution or suggest a better alternative. |
BigYash:You are wrong 💯. He can resign after the election, but not necessarily before the election. Many governors in the past have contested for senate when they were still in power. Some are currently planning to contest too, like Dapo Abiodun of Ogun. The examples you gave up there is only applicable to political aponitees like ministers etc. A governor is politically elected, not appointed. |
You can't be a businessman. A genuine businessman don't joke with phone calls. |
Iamzik:South (17 years) 👇 Obasanjo (8yrs) Jonathan (5yrs) Tinubu (4yrs) North (11 years) 👇 Yaradua (3yrs) Buhari (8yrs) *Note: Jonathan completed his own 4 years + 1 year of yaradua So, if we truly want to be fair with this rotation system, now is the time for the north, not the south again. |
Portable should ask for a refund from his babalawo |
Ondo is at number 4, but there is nothing to show for it. |
100k in a month is approximately 3,200 per day. A bachelor will struggle to survive on that amount, let alone a family. |
Are you sure these are not cobras? |
Only Atiku and Obi joint ticket can defeat Tinubu. If they contest separately, they will split their votes again in favor of Tinubu. They should not allow what happened in 2023 to repeat itself again in 2027. |
Pious101:I don't need your lesson. Lecturer don't teach me nonsense. Go teach your children. 🤫🖕 |
Pious101:If you don't understand my comment, that's your problem. They all use guns to operate, don't they? |
Omoojugo:You are very wrong. You don't know anything about Osun State politics. Davido played a part but he did not make him the governor. Adelekes have been well on ground in Osun for many years. The first civilian governor of Osun State was late isiaka Adeleke a.k.a serubawon. He was the elder brother of this current governor. He was also a former senator. Even Ademola the current governor is also a former senator. Davido is still a small boy in politics. He is still learning the game of politics from his uncles. |
OKOATA:The look of the officer has nothing to do with fighting crime. All criminals beg in the same manner, looking remorseful and shedding crocodile tears does not amount to innocence. You support terrorists to be killed up north, but you want them to be properly investigated in the south. That's hypocricy. If you or any of your relatives have been kidnapped before, you won't have sympathy for anyone caught with illegal weapon. |
Are we sure only fulanis are doing all these kidnappings?? We all know Fulanis for what they are and what they have been doing, but I still don't want to dispute the involvement of some insiders. People can't be trusted nowadays. Security agencies should do more in the areas of intelligence gathering. It is possible that indigenous members of these communities are collaborating with the Fulanis |
For the deceased to be in possession of illegal weapon, he is probably a terrorist, kidnapper or arm robber. Whether the officer was right or wrong is not my concern here. I just want you people to know that many of the kidnappings we currently experience everyday in the south are carried out by indigenous people, not only fulanis. A terrorist is a terrorist, it doesn't matter whether he came from the south, east, north or west, they all deserve the same treatment. Yes, they all deserve to be shot at sight. This insecurity is too much in the country. There should be no sympathy for the wicked. |
The top states in fertility rate are also the top states in poverty rate |
