Sheuns:
One thing I know is that since this government came on, my business has taken a big hit, income dropped, expenses more.

Technically, I’ve become poorer than before.

Many are in this situation.
That's the same story everywhere. Here poor electricity is ruining my income. What would've been my profit is going down on diesel everyday. Too hard to break even

Saladdin:
Wow. Saving 40% on that income is too aggressive. How would your family (let's assume you have a wife and one child) feed of that's your sole income (let's assume again that your family is a one-income family.)?
What if I'm not earning up to that amount, would the family not survive? There's time to sow, there's time to endure, and there's time to enjoy. That's my own philosophy.

Family › Re: Let See Your Budget With ₦300,000 Per Month As A Parent/single by Bluna:
300k monthly is approximately 3.6 million annually. That's not really a big amount, if you're not careful you may expend everything on feeding and family/personal expenses with no meaningful savings. A businessman like me will rather join a cooperative society, saving 40% of the monthly income with them. After a year, I will get loan of N3 million from them to invest in my business.
Travel › Re: With ₦300,000 Monthly Income, Where Can I Live In Western Nigeria? by Bluna: 7:32pm On Jul 20
Ibadan has the cheapest cost of living in the southwest. Rent is not the only cost, you should consider food cost, transportation and business opportunities too. Ibadan ticks the box more than others.

“I have the files of all former appointees of the immediate past administration and their dirty deals, but I decided to keep quiet for peace to reign in the state.”

This is exactly what APC is all about; both at the federal and state levels. If you're with them, you're protected despite all your dirty deals, but once you leave them, the witch-hunt is on you.

I love this new trend of treatment that's been done to thieves nowadays angry. Before handling you over to the police, you must first of all entertain us by showcasing your talents to us first .
The funniest part is that they all take the performance very seriously as if it is an audition.

Pau Cubarsí deserves the Best Young Player Award 💯 🫡🔥

Despite all the noise and hype about Lamine Yamal, he could only score just 1 goal throughout the world cup and he had 0 assist. That's the player some blind people are tipping for 2026 Ballon d'Or. WTF?? 🤥

Pau Cubarsí led all players in the World Cup final for:
👇
Touches (139)
Successful passes (121)
Passing accuracy (96%)
Line-breaking passes (21)
Clearances (6)

Sowore is right. Many people are currently languishing in detention, not because they committed a serious crime as such, but because some big men somewhere are flexing their muscle.

Politics › Re: Building Roads Doesn't Define Good Governance. Achieving Measurable Results Does by Bluna: 10:30am On Jul 15
Prioritizing super highways over electricity is not a good governance. For 8 eight years, Buhari was busy building trains, using borrowed money. What's the benefits of those trains to our economy today? This one too, he does not prioritize electricity, he is rather building super highways. Useless misplaced priority
