geoworldedu:At least, Mohbad doesn't have trust in his own mama and papa.. Check am naa.. Guy lived a life shaa. |
Man102:And this man is happy that Nigerians are consuming lots of refined sugar in the name of biscuits? |
OsilaGama:These ones dey show us Fats.. What happened to strong-looking six packs? |
BluntCrazeMan:Racoon, Garfield1, Dalitigator |
Maxymilliano:I'm yet to see any institution that is still working very well in Nigeria.. Racoon |
Procashtips:.. That part above.... Is there any specific reason why it was included in the question?? We need context. We need some background stories to that effect. |
Brendaniel:They may not.. Something that had been happening all these while is that -- the Petitioners are being forced into the corner being prepared for them by the respondents.!! But one day, a petitioner would definitely do something very different -- and that would be the day the story changed. For instance, a day will come when a Petitioner would prove to the court that the Results on the IREV-PORTAL are also as useful and as authentic as the results-sheets which were used to collate the election results. |
AK481:Bro... The thing that is now remaining for the Petitioners right now is HOW TO GET THE EVIDENCE INSIDE THE BVAS MACHINES TO BE USED..!! But then,, it is very appalling that the INEC will waste lots of OUR NATION’S MONEY on the BVAS-Machines and the IREV-Portal, and then, they will go to the court and be trying everything to make them so useless.!! Why would they be wasting money on them again in every election that comes and goes.?? And why are Nigerians so comfortable with such a setting? It beats me.!! |
Penguin2:I lost hope after the rubbish that happened in November 2023 (Bayelsa, Imo, Kogi)... If you noticed, I reduced my commenting on electoral issues. I stopped pushing. But then, if we didn't look inwards, these people will never have any better change. We can push for a change and have it. It depends on how strong and how smart we are able to push. |
fergie001:(the emboldened) I believe that it is the judges that allow this. And it tells very bad for our dear system. I mean, cannot the Petitioners Urge The Judges to pronounce sanctions on the INEC for such waste of time? And though it sits on an ill side for counsels to try call out the Judges, but cannot the counsels to the Petitioners Bravely Call out the Judges when such activities that would harm the petition are being done by the respondents while the judges are keeping silent about them?? |
Breaker001:I know about this.. Just that, we are just trying to see if there is something that can be done in order to upturn the whole situation, so that the confidence can rise back again.. And then, let us also see if there is a way of making it easier to prove the cases with the documents and few key witnesses, rather than the Analogue Systems of calling thousands of witnesses which they are seriously trying their best to throw us into.. Nevertheless, if the National Assembly Members are wise, in their next Amendments of the Electoral Act, they should say exactly what they want inside that Electoral Act, or else, it will throw us into more chaos. |
Brendaniel:Fight them even with tooth-and-nail.. Fight relentlessly. But not fighting dirty. Fight all fights possible. It must not be a dirty fight. Even when they fall to the mud, we lift them up and keep the fight going-on on firm grounds while we keep fighting while standing. We must not fall into the muds while fighting this particular fight. |
Pythagoras001:Let me start with the last emboldened statement. The court knows the right thing to do. But they want the parties to do their dues and argue everything out by themselves, and they would decide who wins based on mere arguments in the court. INEC which is supposed to send the email will never ever do that. .. As for the AUDITING OF THE RESULTS AFTER THE ELECTION, that's exactly what the inspection of the BVAS-Machines is supposed to stand for at the moment, but the INEC and the Judges kept gagging the little remaining oxygen out of the lungs of such an exercise for a very long time now. As for the Electronic Transmission and Collation, we will continue to relentlessly seek for it to be passed into Law. |
Penguin2:My brother,, I have no other country. This is the only country I have. This is the only country I know. So, I have no other option than to continue being optimistic. They had a predetermined outcome in mind, which was to retain Okpebholo whether by hook or crook, and no evidence or legal arguments would have been enough.I believe that one day, they would be boxed to a corner, and they cannot have any other escape routes again. You need to stop saying you have “learned” something from the judgment because if you do the things they’ve stated here in another Tribunal litigation, they will argue from another angle. One day, they will get tired of arguing. They will look for things to argue with, AND THEY WILL NOT FIND.!! |
chicfarmer:They are doing everything possible to send clear messages to all potential would-be Petitioners that it is very useless for anyone to think about petitioning the elections. |
chicfarmer:You're welcome. I'm just a scholar. I am not a lawyer yet. Thanks for reading my submissions too. |
fergie001:This is the main issue.. And it is the main killer of election-petitions for now.. So, I want to ask.. Even with subpoenas demanding for such and with compelling court-orders,, does it mean that the INEC cannot still be forced to operate and demonstrate the BVAS-Machines right there inside the open court.?? Or is it that none of the Petitioners had actually tried compelling them to do the demonstration in court before now? |
chicfarmer:Even if they object, the Judges would rule against their objections.. That's the reason the judges are there. There are strong reasons why the judges have to rule in favour of the requests of the Petitioners.. These are documents which all the parties are very much all aware of. So, which other strong reasons do the Respondents have again for them to object to those requests of the Petitioners.? |
alphaconde:That's a very sad outcome.. Hopefully, future petitioners should learn from this and avoid all the mistakes that were made by Asue Ighodalo.. Whoever that is trying to go to the Tribunal should start from the time the election is ONGOING to be gathering facts and evidence with which to go to the Tribunal, and to structure his arguments very well, so that they wouldn't go to the Tribunal and start presenting shaky arguments under cross-examinations. |
1Alex:Donleo92 This is the Summary of the Summary which you requested for earlier.. Or abi you still want further summary.?? |
Olu1000:It's a shame though.. But then, we continue fighting them on their own terms, inside their own playing grounds, hoping to win them one day. And Yes. It must happen soon. |
donleo92:You want the summary of the summary.?? Habbaa naauuu..!! |
Brendaniel:We fight Ideology with Ideology.. Am I Not Correct.?? |
Breaker001:Nobody wishes to go to the court. But then, if you find yourself cheated so badly, and you think that the evidence of the cheating is very clear,, won't you be tempted to rush to the court.?? |
chicfarmer:Thanks for the question. Like I presented in the second part of the topic,, there are some things which the Petitioners and the Respondents must agree to during the PRE-HEARING PHASE.. With that, enough of the necessary documents can be presented, and be taken as read. Then, a Star witness (or some other major witnesses) who were at the situation-room of the party or who were at any of the Collation Centers - can then give testimonies which would both demonstrate all the necessary documents which were tendered and admitted as evidence, and at the same time link them to the case of the Petitioners. |
NaijaphiliaBlog:See how they forgot that YPP had a senator in June-2023.. |
Glimpsetv:Canada Singles are suffering ooo.. Both men and women. It's very hard to get hooked in Canada. |
DiamondsAreFore:Are they trying to force us to be imagining what those people were actually doing under the rain? Why is it so difficult for them to say? That some people are jumping around and PLAYING in the rain and ENJOYING THEMSELVES UNDER THE RAIN, is that why they even involved the NDLEA too? Why can't they just tell us exactly what they were doing under the rain? |
The emergency rule will be renewed for Ibas at the 11th-Hour.!! |
Merry100:Okk |
Merry100:Topic is about virgins. |

Why should I agree to make the case easier for my opponent, the petitioner?
