I will limit my judgement to the employer's claim.

1.
How did the employer discover that the lense he bought from the employee was a stolen one?

2.
What has the employer done about the lense? Has he reported it to the police or has he located the owner? Or, is he an accomplice (a beneficiary of theft)?

3.
In fact, how is the story of the lense related to the arrest and the detention of the employee? Or, is the employer using that story to manipulate the public?

4.
As for the employee being a loan defaulter and thief, it may be true or false. I expect the employer to react to the allegations.

The employer is reacting to the allegations made by the ex-employee in an earlier thread full of long stories.

Reaction to the previous thread:
EDO 2024: HURIWA BACKS INEC’S DISQUALIFICATION OF APC, LP AGENTS
https://www.nairaland.com/8201909/edo-2024-huriwa-backs-inecs........

...
In the previous thread, HURIWA said that INEC did the right thing by disqualifying the party agents of APC and LP, and they went ahead to give some flippant reasons why they supported INEC’s actions, and even quoted some excerpts from the Electoral-Act and INEC’s “Regulations and Guidelines”.

...
But after I finished studying those laws which the HURIWA quoted, I stand to emphatically say that the HURIWA is very wrong in their stance and opinion.

In fact,, the HURIWA is very biased in their opinion..

The Electoral-Act didn't mention the “online uploading of Party Agents” at any point as being the procedure for the submission of lists of party agents.. (Not to talk of the Particular Section-43 which HURIWA quoted in defence of their opinion).
And the timeline for the submission of the list of Party Agents is 14-days to the election date.
-- As at today, we still have 2-Days before the deadline.

So, if the INEC had closed the online portal already, and they declared that they had stopped accepting the list of party agents from being uploaded to the portal,, then, they are the ones going against the rules.
AND THEY NEEDED TO BE SUED BY THE AFFECTED PARTIES.

(We should also bear in mind that the Nigerian courts had ruled that the INEC’s “Regulations and Guidelines” was solely produced by the INEC, and that it can be changed by the same INEC anytime they wish, and thus, they may even choose Not to abide by it. -- This simply means that the INEC’s “Regulations and Guidelines” doesn't hold any water when it comes to Legal Matters.)

Then again, even the INEC’s “Regulations and Guidelines” did not make the “Online upload of Party Agents” a primary option; rather the “Online upload of Party Agents” was made a Secondary Alternative Option inside the INEC’s “Regulations and Guidelines”. (Clause 9 of the INEC’s Regulations and Guidelines)

Therefore, I seriously wonder why the HURIWA quoted these two Statutes, and how they even came to the conclusion that the INEC was right in what they did.

Why would the INEC disqualify the Appointed Party Agents based on a procedure which is even a secondary alternative option inside a document that is supposed to Not hold any water.??

I AM STILL SERIOUSLY WONDERING WHY THE VARIOUS PARTIES HAVE NOT TAKEN THE INEC TO COURT ALREADY..

Increasing tax is not the major problem here..

The main problem here is the embezzlement of the proceeds..

If Nigerians complain now, Bayo-Onanuga will start releasing series of statements, and listing out countries that have VAT of 10% and above, 15% and above, 20% and above, and so on..
He won't be telling us their GDPs-Per-Capita, or their Minimum Wage, or their quality of life.

Celebrities / Re: Bobrisky's ₦200 Million G-wagon Birthday Cake That Got People Talking (Photos) by BluntCrazeMan: 9:25am On Sep 03
Gistmedia10:
Bobrisky, whose real name is Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, is a Nigerian internet personality and cross-dresser who has gained widespread fame for her controversial antics and bold personality. Over the weekend, Lagos was buzzing with excitement as Bobrisky threw what many are calling the biggest party of the year to celebrate her 33rd birthday. The extravagant celebration, which took place on Saturday, drew a crowd of celebrities, influencers, and fans from all over the country. shocked

But what really got everyone talking was the centerpiece of the event—a gigantic G-Wagon cake that Bobrisky claimed cost a whopping ₦200 million. The cake, designed to look like a luxury G-Wagon SUV, stood tall and was a major highlight of the party, with its sheer size and elaborate detailing leaving many guests and social media users in awe.

However, not everyone was convinced. While some praised Bobrisky for her lavish display, others questioned whether the cake was real or just a clever prop. Doubts have been raised about the authenticity of the cake's massive price tag, with some suggesting it was more of a publicity stunt than an actual cake.

DyshApp:
An MC (Master of Ceremonies) gains attention online as he narrates how a bride paid him and the DJ (Disc Jockey) N10,000 each in 2013 for her wedding before meeting her husband and getting married in 2024.

In the viral video, UK-based MC asserted that he and DJ agreed to host the bride’s wedding in 2013 and since she had faith, she paid them N10k each for the wedding, even though she had not met her husband.

Fast forward to 2024, the wedding finally took place and since they had agreed, they hosted the wedding with no additional payment.

Many viewers shared their amazement while reacting to the rapid decline in the economy within those years.
